Great location - very close to many restaurants, shopping, interlaken ost station but poor amenities - no elevator so had to drag suitcases to third floor. No breakfast available on site, but available close by. Bathrooms were clean but very small and some rooms have shared bathrooms. Reception staff was available on call. Overall, lacked a positive experience.

Although it may a listed as 2 star but there was no elevator so bringing luggage to 3rd floor was a workout. No air conditioning. Smallest possible washroom stuck inside room with glass door that did not hide much. Overall a run down property.

The room was fine and clean. The door locked and we felt safe in the room. HOWEVER if you can stay elsewhere, do so. The rooms are incredibly hot and loud. These rooms are warm even compared to those we have stayed in in far warm climates. You are basically 1 meter away from 5 bars/restaurants which have closing hours of 11 pm but they do not seem to quieten down until well after that. We had guitars playing and patrons having loud conversations until well after 11:30 pm on a Wednesday and sports on at the bar until 1:30 am Tuesday. Swiss quiet hours don’t seem to exist outside Hotel Blume. To cool the room you have the windows which means you are basically in the middle of loud bar/restaurant patrons or the sleep with the windows closed with it being much cooler outside than inside. A small desk fan was provided which does little to cool such a large room. One of the worst places I have ever stayed. We never had any interactions with hotel staff and in terms of the hospitality was closer to an airbnb.

It was a decent place. Nice welcome but we did not see the staff much otherwise. They were accessible, though. Location was good but rooms are small. Bunk bed was squeaky so kids were complaining. Also it got a bit hot if the connecting door was closed but if we left it opened every time someone changed position in their bed motion detector light in the connecting area kicked in. Great location though. Great coffee maker and very good housekeeping.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I had better experienced with youth hostel than this. The “shared” bathroom is multiple closet with a toilet or a shower next to a very public spiral staircase. No sink above de 1st floor. Our room was ont the 4th. To brush our teeth or fill our water bottle, we had to go up and down 4 flights of stairs. No sink next to the toilet the closest to our room. Super hot inside , even if we are in April.

An old hotel but kept clean. Small room but good enough for a couple who just want to enjoy what Interlaken got to offer. Staffs are friendly and courteous. Everything you need is closeby and walkable; transportations, restaurants, shopping, parks, whatever you think you might need. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

Good location both from Interlaken west and Ost. Receptionist was very kind and suggested great local restaurants, which I tried and felt really satisfied with. For property, a bit scared with stairs at night due to no light. Besides, heard noises and talks from a room adjacent to my room.

The room was perfect for an affordable place to stay in Interlaken. We could see the paragliders from our window, were on one of the main streets in town and everything including train and restaurants we’re accessible by foot! Room was very clean and staff was extremely kind. Recommend hiking harder kulm and going to St. Beatus cave from here!

Very nice little hotel in the heart of Interlaken. Very warm welcome, room was clean, warm and very well maintained. Coffee machine available in the room. Despite being in the centre of the town there wasn’t much noise from the street, or from other guests as previous reviews have stated. The room was serviced each day to a high standard. I would highly recommend this hotel.
