"If you like to be surrounded by wood, this is your place. We felt like we were in a mountain cabin, yet we were in the middle of the city. Everything worked great especially the air conditioner!! Decor was really interesting and was fun to investigate. We like to cook and it had everything we needed for a nice meal. Location was perfect near the college and the downtown area. We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in Abilene."

"We were in town to visit our daughter in college and extended family. The property was just what we needed. We had one minor issue that the owner addressed right away. My only recommendation would be to have a broom and dust pan available. Our youngest isn’t the neatest eater and a broom would have been helpful to clean up after her. 😀"

"Liked the location near the zoo and park. Nice neighborhood, no more than 5 miles to all stores and several restaurants. Plenty of towels and beds were very comfortable. We did need to pick up body soap and shampoo. The grass could have been cut prior to our stay but than again there had been rain. Over all it was a nice place to stay and we would stay there again."

"Nice property. Plenty of room for our family. Games and Foosball kept kids busy and happy. Loved that we were only asked to do minimal cleanup, trash and dishes. That made our checkout much easier at 10am.We week be back next year!"

"The location is perfect and easy to access everything. The neighborhood is very charming and more lush with the tree line streets. The house was very clean and had everything we needed and we had a wonderful time. The host was very responsive and recommended some fantastic restaurants in the area. Next time we come out to visit, we will be staying here. I would highly Recommend this Home!"

"It needed hand soap at the sinks. We found some in a closet but not enough. Only had one roll of toilet paper. Contacted the host and she brought us more. Had trouble locking most of the doors. The apartment was very nice and decorated to be very inviting. "

"We were so pleasantly surprised how serene Mimi’s House was. A beautiful backyard for conversation and bird listening. There was a great kitchen to work in as we were there for the birth of a granddaughter. The location was convenient to the hospital and restaurants. We will be back and stay at Mimi’s House again."

"When the four of us staying at Cottage Clare walked in we all immediately giggled delightfully. Three of us want to move into it permanently. The decorations are quirky, beautifully color coordinated and obviously done by someone who enjoyed making it all work.
