"Great location for the night before an early flight. 99 Egyptian pounds (£1.60) in an Uber to the Airport. Hotel was great, massive room and comfy bed. Nice pool, spa and massage facilities. Only downside is that smoking was allowed in the Bar area and Italian restaurant. "

"The Novotel was a welcome relief from the hustle and bustle of Cairo. The room was huge- in fact two rooms. It was quiet and clean with good facilities. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Especially Emir the waiter who looked after me."

"This is a large compound just a short drive to the pyramids. It is very safe and secure and has a feel as a retreat. It would be good for groups, workshops, teams or large families. The pool is nice. Area and rooms have a lot of mosquitoes. Breakfast buffet is mediocre and evening buffet is expensive. Room service meals are reasonable. Room needs more outlets or extension cords. I had to move TV to plug in laptop. Really stingy on coffee. I got 1 coffee, 1 tea bag, and at least 15 sugars....

"The property is very nice, even though it is not new. The grounds are beautiful, the breakfast is good. And the staff are very friendly. The road the ptoperty is on is undergoing a lot of consrtuction to get ready for the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum. This cators to the Western visitor, and is not suitable for the Muslim visitors as the main focus is a swimming pool next to a bar with dancing open unyil 3:00am."
