"The owners are excellent. Place very clean but dated. Hot water great pressure. Pretty gardens lots of plants and flowers. Pool was clean. Limited restaurants and they close in the afternoon so we ate from a gas station with limited food. Need a car. Beach across the street looked nice, but didn’t use we only stayed few hours waiting for late flight. For the money it was good."

"We had a wonderful time! The property is tucked in the mountain range with a breathtaking view. The house is decorated with heart and style. Mostly importantly, host Maxim and Agathe are exceptional! "We made reservations in November 2020 for our stay in June 2021. We arrived at the hotel and were turned away by the security guard as it was only housing housing COVID-19 guests. We had to quickly find a new hotel. This was a prepaid hotel stay and after calling the hotel multiple times we have still not received a refund."

"Unquestionably your best option if, like us, you are staying for just one night in Papeete before boarding a ferry to elsewhere, like Moorea. Very clean and well-appointed rooms, a rooftop bar/restaurant with fabulous views (and live music on the Saturday night we visited), an upscale restaurant on the level below that. and a nice little breakfast/lunch/coffee place beside the lobby on the first floor. You can also walk just a few blocks from there to the big Papeete Market (great place to get snacks, fruit, souvenirs, and see local culture), plus a couple other good restaurants and some shops. Would definitely go back!"
