"A cozy cabin in the woods, only a brief walk away from the lake, and a comfortable fit for our family of 5. Very well stocked kitchen - we were able to cook all our meals easily. We especially enjoyed the screened-in porch and the swimming area and kayaks that were available for guest use. Ice cream/trading post for food/supplies and a boat rental all just up the road if you want to take advantage of the lake. "This is a big old farmhouse, beautifully restored - modern, immaculate and very comfortable. Of course the two hotels in Potsdam are frequently booked, especially when there are events at the colleges, as was the case when we visited our daughter this past weekend. I'm so glad we found this B&B. The family who owns the house is very friendly and will do all they can to accommodate their guests' needs.
