"We booked what we thought was a two queen pool side room like we had two years ago. The outdoor portion of the pool is now filled in and pool side rooms no longer exist but the pics on the website and on Expedia still show the outdoor pool. A regular two queen room was at least $25 less per night than the two queen pool side we had. It’s very misleading."

"Standard 2 queen room was tiny. Our main complaint was that Saturday night was way overpriced/about double the cost of Friday night. $188/night for Friday was already adequate reimbursement when you factor in the tiny room with the convenient location. A slight bump for Saturday is understandable but double is ridiculous and we won’t be back because of it. Ice machines on 1st, 2nd and 3rd floor were empty every day, whether it was 7 am or noon. On the positive side the room was clean and the included breakfast was fresh and fairly well stocked with various items."

"We reserved a King suite. It was very nice. The bathroom shower door had some black mold on the track. So, a little more attention to detail is recommended. The outside was lackluster for Frankenmuth. Weeds in the landscape, debris on the ground and parking lot. Not very well maintained. The pool area was ok. The tile flooring and the wall tile along the floor was dirty and scummy. Probably time for a cleaning. Breakfast was ok. Nothing special serving rubber sausage and pre-made eggs. If you're coming in the middle of the week and stay til Saturday, watch out for the rate gouge of another $100. During the week it is around $170 a night and then $254 on Friday and weekends. No additional services or additional amenities, just a greedy gouge because they can. Overall, I expected better from a Frankenmuth Hotel. I grew up in the area and know how important it is to uphold the image of a perstigeous property for tourism. I'd say Fairfield fell a little short of that expectation."
