"All staff members encountered were engaging and seemed to enjoy what they were doing. The property is dated and in need of renovation, bur overall a good experience. "

"We go once or twice a year and enjoy the pool and scenery. The restaurant is good and the accommodations are nice. The furnishings seemed newer and everything worked in the room. I recommend the second floor (the first floor is more of a basement and has noise problems). This hotel always seems under-staffed. Good luck getting anyone to answer the phone."

"Check in was fast, but room #226 key did not work, took service tech about 15-20 minutes to fix/change door lock. Body cream and hair conditioner bottles were empty otherwise room was nice."

"Everything was ok, food service wasn't good. We didn't know if we had to eat at the restaurant. There was suppose to be breakfast buffet on the weekend. But, we never found the food the room with the buffet in it. Employees weren't to helpful, they wanted us to order from their restaurant. Disappointed "

"If you’re in the area, and need ation, you really can’t get any better than this hotel, ideally situated in the heart of downtown right on the little river. Hotel is nicely furnished, very well kept and modern amenities everywhere. Would definitely stay here again without hesitation."

"Very good experience at Wyndham Rockford. We enjoyed the pool (water temperature just right!). Our room was super quiet and breakfast had a lot to offer. Definitely would return."

"Hotel is nice. We had a problem at check out. Seems the day before they never official checked us in. That got fixed in about 10 minutes. The room was nice except some mold in the corner of shower. No breakfast, no restaurant or bar as advertised. "

"We had been there once before a few years ago. Seems they have updated some things. Clean, comfortable, close to nice dinner options. The Village Grill is where we ended up for a burger and fish fry. The front desk woman, Lisa, I think her name is, was friendly and professional. "

"Nice hotel in a quiet spot! I stayed 5 nights during my business trip so i picked Hyatt Place. I love their spacious rooms and a small kitchenette section with a sink and fridge. My room was clean and in a great condition. The rooms get a bit stale smelling if the A/C unit does not run. The Staff was super friendly and helpful! Andrea, Toronto"
