"My daughter and I spent a night here after a long drive through heavy and windy rains. It was a great place to rest and recover. I loved our room, the beds were comfortable and we had an enjoyable dinner in the restaurant/bar downstairs. The staff was friendly and helpful and we hope to stay again. Definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in the area. "

"We love how accommodating, helpful and responsive Hollie and Clayton were.
The rental had everything we needed and then some. Very clean, cozy and comfortable.
We chose this location, because it was close to the different parks and trails we had visited.
Thank you, Hollie and Clayton, for being such gracious hosts."

"The owner canceled on us one hour before we were supposed to be there. The house was flea infested. We did get a full refund. I spent many hours on the phone because I had to cancel through hotels.com and the company called Evolve. The people I talk to at evolve felt they were not...

"My husband and I stayed in house #4. Despite the somewhat run down exterior, the inside of the house was a pleasant surprise. It was very clean and cozy. A major highlight was the screen porch where we enjoyed the peaceful river view while having coffee in the mornings. The people from the management office were very friendly and accommodating and offered tips for restaurants and things to do. Golconda is a short drive to Shawnee National Forest which offers amazing hiking. The only real...
