We were out the whole day and put the sign out to clean the room unfortunately this did not happen and when we came back at 8pm we asked for fresh towels but we’re out of luck . The owner or manager was not very friendly at all. No complimentary water but charged almost 5 euro for a bottle of water. We paid $100 per night without breakfast. Cannot recommended at all "

"A great choice for a single overnight or a multiple night stay! A very nice and well maintained hotel in the Franconian Switzerland. Friendly reception and very nice food service for the evening meal. My single room was very adequate and the WiFi was fast and had a great signal. Plenty of free parking just across the street from the hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my very short stay."

"The rooms were very spacious and nice. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. The food was very good. Orbitz list this property with laundry facilities and service which they do not have and there are none in the area. They also list air conditioning which they do not have in the rooms (only the hallways). They do have an elevator which orbitz shows that they don’t."

"This is a wonderful location and hotel for exploring Bamberg, Altenburg, and beyond. Very convenient free parking, great Franconia cuisine, and relaxing garden. Walking distance to great trails and nature. The owner and staff are welcoming and attentive, and the rooms are very comfortable. They have been blessed by a returning Stork in Spring as well!"

"A pleasent friendly welcome and service, let down only by one member of staff more interested in hiding with her phone rather than attending to breakfast service. On that day only cold "hot" food ( most dishes missing) no coffee offered, hot water for tea was cold, bread was missing, cereals unfilled. Other days were plentiful and satisfactory."

"This was a no-frills hotel quiet, clean and we felt secure. Unfortunately, I thought it was a bit over-priced for the location and no on-site restaurant. Would not recommend if you want to be near tourist attractions. The reception was easy and offered good information. Breakfast was traditional continental European breakfast."

"Your hotel staff was very rude, when we checked in we noticed the shower hose was broke, my husband reported to the front desk, they said they would send a repair man, I called two hours later, then I was told his colleague, told my husband it would be the next day and argued with me as if we were lying, then I was told to go to another guest in the hotel to use their shower. Cobb webs all over wall, had and issue getting towels and toilet paper. I’m not sure how many guest they serve, but only...
