"A very warm welcome at the ArtHotel when we arrived from the ferry - we’d requested a parking garage space for our bike and reception could not have been more helpful with advice about the locality and a town map. Our room was modern and very comfortable, and breakfast was excellent in terms of choice and also freshness & hygiene. We will definitely stay again. We loved the quirky modern art styling throughout the hotel and were delighted to meet Manolo, the hotel cat."

"Clean and comfortable hotel for a one night's stay. It's a very small hotel without reception past 9pm. Everything was great with the room and I really appreciated the water and snacks available without charge. The only thing I found strange was that they were reluctant to let me in at any point before 3pm, I was waiting in the lobby at 230 and it seemed that only once the clock struck 3 would I be allowed in. "Picked this because it was near the airport and advertised a shuttle service. It didn't have one but taxi easy and similar cost (15 euro). Reception staff very helpful despite v litle English. Taxi into Santander Old Town also 15 euro. Small onsite parking OK for my motorcycle. Hotel a litlle dated and maybe due for a refresher."

The hotel is situated in a nice quiet area near to the sea and amenities. We had 2 dogs the hotel was very accommodating and the rooms were perfect for us spacious clean with ample toiletries. "I would have rated the property much higher save for two issues. The good part was that the property was well located for us near major routes. It was spacious and clean. The bad part was that we didn't have any heat for the first half of our stay when outside temperature was 2 degrees. The other problem was check-in which supposed to be from 4-8pm but there was no-one there. After an hour we had to have someone call as their message service wasn't working. 15 minutes later someone arrived...
