"Beautiful grand hotel, amazing hall, high ceilings, great value for money, it is really worth paying a little extra for the classic rooms to experience this grand building (the cosy rooms on the top floor are fine but small, low ceiling and not particularly good value for money). "I have stayed here a few times over the last year on business trips. Friendly, clean and tidy and good value for money. The King and double bedrooms I have stayed in are spacious and the beds and pillows very comfortable. Nice touch that when they get to recognise you as a regular, a room upgrade is simply done as a nice gesture without asking - excellent customer service that puts the guest first. Happened at least three times fairly recently "
