"Free parking close to everything very convenient. "
Overall decent place if you don't plan to stay in room much. Small rooms but fit our needs for a quick overnight trip. Had plumbing issues but staff friendly and offered discount for issue. Very accommodating.

"No parking"
I would have appreciated heads up on the parking situation. Ended up paying $75 for 2 days of parking close to the hotel. I think they should have some type of arrangement with any of the parking lots near so hotel guests can park at a discounted rate or have some type of validation for free parking for hotel stay.

Our SUV was med/lrg and a tight squeeze. The Staff was friendly. The rooms were cozy with Plenty of pillows, and an excellent iron! I would absolutely stay here or recommend a friend :). Ps. There's a Starbucks coffee maker in the lobby with all the fixings.

Civic Center Motor Inn

"Good hotel, decent area"
This hotel was basic. We stayed 4 days. Very clean (smelled strongly of bleach every day). Breakfast wasnt great but it was food (hotel waffles, toast with butter or jelly, a couple cereal options, some packaged pastries and a couple apples/oranges.) Not a bad area. Wasn't great either. During the day it was ok, a little scary at night.

The Urban

"Nice spot to crash for the night."
I totally recommend this place for travelers on the go. Small rooms with comfy beds, sink, and miny fridge. If you need more than that when you're in SF, you're doing it wrong. At first I was wasn't keen on the idea of shared bathrooms, but they were clean and with multiple on the floor I never had to wait. Friendly staff. I will stay here again.

You can enjoy the beautiful surroundings and unique culture of San Francisco and still have money left over for some sourdough.

One of San Francisco’s most legendary landmarks, the Golden Gate Bridge, is free to explore. There are walkways on both sides of the bridge, and you can stroll nearly 5 km across the Golden Gate Strait to capture that perfect moment when the San Francisco fog begins to lift, revealing the city. Stick with the theme and head to Golden Gate Park next. This 1,000-acre public green space bears a striking resemblance to New York City’s Central Park, but Golden Gate Park offers a charm all its own. After exploring its lush trails and quiet waterways, you’ll work up an appetite, so why not grab some dinner at the Beach Chalet? Located at the western edge of the park, facing the Pacific Ocean, the Beach Chalet’s cuisine features salads, seafood, and burgers to start. You won’t go home hungry!

San Francisco is a city that loves its food, and you’ll want to sample all of it. Book a 2-star hotel in San Francisco to ensure you have plenty of spending money left over. A cheap hotel deal will leave you with enough funding to head to Fisherman’s Wharf, where you can sample clam chowder in a sourdough bowl, or fresh-caught crab. Fisherman’s Wharf is also the place to snap pictures of the iconic sea lions that take up residence there, as well as find souvenirs for your loved ones.

Make sure you’ve got the funding to spend on those souvenirs (and more food) by booking your trip with We offer the best cheap deals on hotels in the City by the Bay, meaning you may leave your heart in San Francisco, but you won’t need to leave your wallet.
