"Around the corner from Orpheum Theatre"
This hotel has convenient parking. You do have to pay for the parking. Close walk to the Orpheum Theatre. Starbucks inside and no other breakfast options close by. Staff is very helpful and considerate. I enjoy having room service but this was not an option at this hotel. This is an excellent choice.

Great location, fresh comfortable rooms (on the smaller side which I don't mind at all). Burritt room on the second floor is an awesome place to grab drinks or food.

"Nice, clean, new hotel."
It's always a pleasure to stay at a new hotel - clean, comfortable, and up-to-date. My only gripe is that the room wasn't quite big enough for the King-size bed - not enough room for the desk and chair. Put a smaller queen-size bed in the room and it would be close to perfect.

Hotel Union Square - San Francisco Hotels

Hotel Union Square

114 Powell St, San Francisco - Map
When we first arrived, we had a deluxe queen. There was nothing "deluxe" about it! It was basically a closet with a queen bed in it. There was no point to even having a window in the room, because it just was up against the other wall of the hotel without any light coming in. It was awful. I knew I would not be able to spend three nights in that room without losing my mind, so I went down to the front desk to ask if there were any upgrades available. Thankfully, there was one left. She gave us the room key to go look at it before we decided to move. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! It was an additional $45/night for the new room but worth every cent compared to the last room. The staff there was beyond wonderful. They were always willing to give us directions, recommendations, etc. I highly recommend the hotel!

Handlery Union Square Hotel - San Francisco Hotels

Handlery Union Square Hotel

351 Geary St, San Francisco - Map
"Perfect Location in Union Square"
The hotel is situated in the heart of Union Square!! It is a perfect location! We were there to celebrate the 50th birthday of a friend that travelled with us. The hotel had a bottle of champagne in their room for her birthday, for her and her husband to enjoy, along with a Happy Birthday note and phone message from the hotel!! In addition, when my wife and I met them in the lobby the morning of her birthday, the front desk staff greeted her with a "Happy Birthday!". It was very impressive!! They made it very personal for her, and therefore for us as well. Regarding the hotel itself, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the pool and other amenities were clean and well taken care of. We will definitely return to the Handlery on our next visit to San Francisco!!

"Great place for business and family!"
We had a great stay at Pier 2620! The staff was very friendly and we were close to many of the tourist attractions. Our time was divided between business and leisure and the hotel was perfect for both. They were in the process of updating the hotel, rooms were comfortable and clean! Great hotel!

You can’t visit San Francisco without trying the city’s legendary clam chowder.

Get your hands on some of this chowder at Fisherman’s Wharf. Located at the northern point of the waterfront area, Fisherman’s Wharf is home to many of the city’s fishing boats. This is the place to get mouthwatering seafood, whether it’s the long sought-after clam chowder in a bread bowl or Dungeness crab and fresh-caught fish. Fisherman’s Wharf is right near the San Francisco Maritime Museum, so walk off some of those calories you just ingested by strolling among the exhibits and museum ships stationed there. Learn about the Age of Sail by touring the tall ships Balclutha and C.A. Thayer, or explore the cramped quarters of the USS Pampanito, a sub that served in World War II.

Get some rest and relaxation in your San Francisco 3-star hotel before going out into the big city again. Reserve a hotel near the wharf area, so you can enjoy everything the waterfront has to offer without memorizing the routes of BART, the city’s transit system. Staying near Fisherman’s Wharf means you’re only about 3.5 km from the baseball stadium, where you can watch the San Francisco Giants play from April through October.

No matter what time of year you decide to visit, you’ll get the cheapest hotel deals through We’ll find you the top accommodations at hotels in San Francisco, whether you’re staying overnight or are looking to make this an extended trip.
