"Planned a short getaway to hike Mount Mitchell and this place could not have been more perfectly located to the trailhead.
The Lodge is newly built, and ground are impeccably well maintained. The staff was super helpful. They even came by to drop off a lighter so the firepit could be put to use.
They have a common use area with a ktichen and grills that can be utilized which is an added bonus as I don’t recall reading about all they had available to make the stay above and beyond expectations....

I turned it on so no problem. Why am i writing this review? When mgr tells me not to cry if there is not coffee tells me he might. Not get out of bed to make it. Poor attitude a d laziness...
