"Overall the property was exactly as advertised. The cottage was clean and roomy enough for 3. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen area could use some better lighting. The back deck looked pretty new but there was no seating on it. One important thing to know is there are no restaurants in the area open on Monday night which is the one night we stayed! We had to drive 15-20 minutes into Newland to find food. The location was good for access to Linville Falls."

"We went for a late season ski weekend at Sugar Mountain. The condo is literally adjacent to the mountain peak lift. Best location you could ask for. Views from the balcony were amazing. Place was comfortable and clean. We will definitely consider renting this spot again if it's available when we return."

"The cabin was perfect for a couple to visit little Switzerland. Not to far from town or the blue ridge parkway. If you are on a motorcycle the gravel road is not to bad , it had rained hard one day washing some rutts in road. But not to bad. Cabin had everything you could want. Kitchen had pots and pans , cups and a dishwasher. Also a bbq pit outside. Hot tub was perfect, just turn the temperature up when you first get there."

"House has a lot of deck levels and outbuildings. The stone showers were a first! The sauna was great and the deck views were wonderful. Had an issue with the hot tub in removing the soft cover and leaves getting into the hot tub. The owners and manager responded within literally minutes. They sent someone over right away and it was cleaned by the time that we returned to the house an hour later. The fireplaces and the firepit on the deck were wonderful when the temps got down into the 40s....
