"The property is very conveniently located to allow great access to all the Cambridge sights. The room was lovely and well-appointed with teas, coffee and even hot chocolate. The property is beautiful and allows for great walks in their green space. The staff were definitely helpful though sometimes with a slightly detached attitude. That is the only criticism I would have. "

"We had a lovely stay mostly. The owners were away until the last night so it was quiet and there was everything we needed. Mostly clean although some areas really needed some attention. Lovely bathroom and a very comfy bed in main bedroom. Really ought to be an apartment for 2 because whoever stays in the 2nd bedroom has to go through main bedroom to get to the bathroom. In present state it doesn’t really work for a 2nd bedroom though because as we found out on last night, when someone’s in the...

"I couldn’t have wished for anything better! A spontaneous stay while I attended a course at the Curwen Print Study Centre near by (which is also excellent). The room was large yet super cosy, beautifully decorated with attention to detail. Lots of soft cushions, blankets and fluffy rugs. Everything was clean and tidy, and warm which was very much appreciated. The pub was so welcoming - staff and punters! And the food was home cooked, plentiful and very tasty. Definitely recommend the food 😀"

"Check in went smoothly with a lovely Iranian lady, she was very kind and helpful! The double room we were given was a good size with tea and coffee making facilities, and it overlooked the river and park, the room was warm and everything was clean, the bed was comfy, so no complaints about the room at all. All staff was lovely, polite and helpful!!! We really enjoyed our stay at the Arundel House Hotel and will no doubt be returning!!! "

"Property is under new management and premises are undergoing refurbishment. The room we had was excellent but no restaurant and no bar . Very few staff but the staff available very helpful. Half hotel refurb done but long way to go. "

"One of four rooms in an adjacent block (so no disturbance from the pub), the room and bathroom were very clean and provided everything needed for a one-night stay. Appears to have recently been refurbished. Good-size shower cubicle and good quality towels provided. We chose twin beds and they were full-size singles, unlike those often provided in smaller hotels. Room was large, warm and well lit. Breakfast was continental and pre-packed in a small 'fridge, consisting of one croissant...

"Everything was fine. Room was clean and does not smell. Onlt thing was the bed too soft for our liking. Plus, i liked that they have a communal kitchen which was reallt helpful when you wanr to cook your own meal instead of ordering from fast food! We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Thank you! "

"Signs easy to follow. Parking on site, quiet at night. Private bathrooms, towel, clean everywhere. Free self service kitchen, all kind of food for breakfast. Hot drinks and i actually could take a good night during my business trip! "

"You're above a pub, but right in the city centre, for real cheap. It's highly convenient, clean bathrooms and bedding, but be warned, it's above a pub. Its a bit noisy until late, but that's expected. Can't complain really. We left some headphones and keys behind but they were very kind to ship them back for us! Would recommend if you're in for a couple of nights and just need a bed. Gud price"

"Had people talking quite late outside my room in a foreign language and my room smell of smoke and musky. The bed lining and curtains smell fresh and bathroom. Could’ve been cleaned a lot better especially the toilet cheap and cheerful"
