« Very rustic with a HUGE emphasis on hunting. There were bear, turkey and antlers mounted on the wall. The place was a nice size. It was nice to have the bathroom down the hall from the bedroom. The living room couches and bed were comfy. Some of the fixtures weren't quite right. The antler chandeliers had cob webs, the sink had a hole where the sprayer was supposed to go, and the outlets weren't all secure in the wall. There was a lot of junk outside the cabin and we had to use our own towels...

« The VRBO was a good location to visit many places in Maine, about an hour from each location. Acadia has a park area close by, but few stopping points , mostly a scenic drive. The main Acadia National Park is about 45 to 50 mins away. Using the bus system during the busiest season is the smartest option. There is a new Gateway Center outside of the park , which will take you to the old visitor center and that is about 30 mins from Goldsboro. Lobster dinners are very expensive, but 10 miles down...

« The house was completely stocked with all the things we needed and all the things we weren't aware we needed. The hosts answered all of our questions and made suggestions for sightseeing and restaurants. The house was very clean and decorated for the Christmas holiday. Definitely a 10/10 experience. »

« We enjoyed our stay. The house was nice, spacious and clean. My only suggestion would be to have table lamps on the nightstands in the bedrooms. Currently there are just overhead lights which make it impossible to read a book in bed at night. »

« Don’t hesitate to book this property! Michael’s place is such a gem! Check in was easy and the host is very responsive. The inside is impeccably clean and there are so many added touches that make this place so special. There are three kayaks, multiple fishing rods, and tons of puzzles and outdoor games. One of the neighbors offers boat rides too! We enjoyed hiking nearby at Schoodic Mountain and finding starfish at Tidal Falls Preserve. Bar Harbor is an hour away and the public beach access is...

« This house was everything that was promised...secluded, well stocked, and very clean. I was particularly happy with the amount of supplies already in the kitchen when I arrived. Every morning I was able to have a hot cup of coffee out on the deck and listen to the water lapping against the rocks. I even had a little seal friend swim up into the cove to say hello. My only word of warning is that the road to the house is unpaved and you really need to take your time driving to and from town....

« Wonderful property a good distance from Acadia for a weekend trip. The location was private and you truly couldn’t tell how close to the main road we were. I probably should have read the description better - we realized there was no refrigerator when we arrived and that we needed to bring our own water, but there was a large cooler and a few water bottles available until we could get more supplies. Host was great with communication and overall had a really lovely stay. »
