"Very rustic with a HUGE emphasis on hunting. There were bear, turkey and antlers mounted on the wall. The place was a nice size. It was nice to have the bathroom down the hall from the bedroom. The living room couches and bed were comfy. Some of the fixtures weren't quite right. The antler chandeliers had cob webs, the sink had a hole where the sprayer was supposed to go, and the outlets weren't all secure in the wall. There was a lot of junk outside the cabin and we had to use our own towels...

"This beautiful and peaceful rental was exactly what we were hoping for and more! The place was clean and beds very comfortable but the real wow factor was the amazing picturesque view of the water! We must have taken dozens of pictures! And the well cared for flower garden and potted plants and flowers were stunning!! The host was an excellent communicator when needed as well. We highly recommend this beautiful rental and would stay again if we're back up this way! Thank you! "

"My wife and I felt very lucky to have found The Miners Den which is a very new creation of a great proprietor who really cares about your experience.The hand built cabin is gently fitted to the landscape of balsam firs and hardwoods with a light touch.It reminded me of the few small cabins in the White Mountains you find along the trails.Everything you need less food is provided.For a couple in their sixties with a friendly dog we will be excited to get back there and see what’s happening.Oh...

"We found a hidden Gem while visiting Maine for our 20th anniversary. This property is stunning. The cabin and amenities were pristine. The owner had great communication and restaurant recommendations. It was truly a picturesque property. "This was our first time booking directly through Vacasa and it was fantastic. This home in Maine was stunning and despite being an old home (very historical and charming!) it was one of the cleanest vacation rentals we have ever stayed in.
