"I do not know if the ladies at coffee shop on the lower ground floor are employees of Fairmont or independently run cofee shop. I thought they could do better with giving a bit of smile. The only room for improvement I would like to share from the recent stay at Jasper Park Lodge. Other than that it was 11 out of 10. "

"The hotel is in a stunning location- it takes your breath away The rooms are comfortable and meet all of your needs However, the service is unfortunately not on par with a 5* We stayed for 5 days and our food bill was quite high - which we wouldn’t have minded if the food had been at a 5* level Servers would bring your food and ask every time who had ordered what? a bowl of soup that was frozen vegetables with chicken broth poured into it was the clincher for us. "I believe your experience will not be the same if you dont stay at Fairmont Banff. The view from our room was worth it alone. Fantastic service. Easy walk or bus to town. Would recommend signing up for tours in advance. Better to join tours rather than renting a car and doing on your own. We also arranged a private tour which is a great option as well. Cant imagine any rating less than a 5!"
