"A very individual style of accommodation. A beautifully kept original home. All the rooms are very different so read the descriptions. Breakfast was served round a huge table- oryou could eat on the veranda or in a separate room. David was very welcoming. An excellent cheap bus service into the city, about 3 minute walk away. "

"Enjoyed our weekend at the Mansion. The Presidential suite was lovely, as was the view. Sunrise on the lake was amazing. Also appreciated the sturdy bed frame which was great for Shibari. The only improvements I would offer is to have coffee in the private suite and less air freshener throughout. "

"Our stay at Cottage Lake Bed and Breakfast was very relax full. The natural beauty of the & B is breathtaking. We viewed and connected with so much of site-seeing of otters, variety of birds, fish and ducklings, not to forget about the breathtaking view of the stars and moonlight. The treehouse is a great area to view the lake and to meditate. The owners Bet, John and their greeter Sadie are very welcoming. The rooms were comfortably stated & 1 for every one (7 rooms). The hosts were very accommodating and generous with their home. "I’ve stayed here several times over the years all the way back to 2015ish. After Covid this location definitely needed an overhaul in their rooms just due to wear and tear over time. I did notice they had done some updates like painting the kitchen countertops, swapping out some door fronts, new toilets, new shower liners, new tvs, new chairs/couches.
