The pictures do not do this scenic escape justice. We had a delicious breakfast overlooking the lake every morning, as well as rejuvenating nights in the hot tub. We were only there for a few days, but it truly felt like staying with family. My boyfriend and I kept saying it felt like, "a mini vacation inside our vacation." I was planning a surprise for my wife and we didn’t get into town until late. John was super accommodating and sweet. Made sure we had everything we needed. They even left a cute Happy Birthday banner with a piece of cake for my wife’s birthday, a really sweet touch. The next morning we got to look out over the lake and it’s really unlike any place we’ve ever stayed. Upon our arrival, they had placed a birthday cake on the table to greet us. The property was in a convenient location for meeting friends, getting to highways or just sitting by the lake. The neighborhood was quiet and quaint and in a great location with quick access to trails and of course, the lake we had access to on the property, which we spent every rising and setting sun. The property gives so much energy from all the greenery and others enjoying the lake. Also, we had a nice quiet bonfire night as well as enjoyed the jacuzzi. The outside is wonderful, but the inside is brilliant. Very cozy and welcoming space. I also enjoyed the plethora of books which had the pleasure of skimming through. Lastly, a nice hearty breakfast every morning and the pleasant company of the host was just as great. Very lovely people that definitely match the aura of the place.
