Suficiente para vacacionar

Posted 10-Mar-2015

Pros: Location, staff accomadating
Cons: wait staff sometimes lax in getting to new customer. when bill was presented no pen available to sign and wait for receipt too long.
Location: In the Mariana and close to busses
Kids took over pool, splashing, noisy, music was too loud and not relaxing

Hotel by the marina- comfortable very clean

Posted 7-Mar-2015
Pros: Clean, close to airport, comfortable beds, person in lobby with Vallarta Adventures you can book excursions right there.
Cons: Security- no real safe in the rooms.
Location: Thursday night they have live music in the marina and a market with tables set up and lots of different things for sale. Visit Sticky Fingers!
Hotel is older but very clean and beds are comfortable. Within walking distance to both Mexican and American restaurants, convenience stores and general shopping. Easy to get a cab to go explore other parts of the city from the hotel.

Would stay there again

Posted 3-Mar-2015
After requesting a "family room" thinking we might end up with joining rooms or maybe a bunk bed for our three kids, we were surprised to find a two level room! Tao double beds downstairs, one king sized bed upstairs. Two balconies over looking the pool, restaurant and beautiful marina, two bathrooms, and tons of space! The hotel is a little older, but the rooms were clean, beds comfortable, staff very friendly and accomadating. We liked that the hotel was a little ways from downtown. Quiet area, beautiful, and safe. Walks down the pier, lots of restaurants to choose from, live street entertainment, even a street market popped up one evening. We would defiantly return to this hotel.

Old Mexican Hotel

Posted 28-Feb-2015
Pros: The pool area and the hotel staff.
Cons: The rooms definitely need updating. The curtains in the room needed to be cleaned as there was an odor that you could smell when opening and closing.
Location: I will not stay in this area again, as we found it to be expensive and not a lot of things to do.
Charming hotel lobby and the pool area was good. The front desk and cleaning staff were wonderful, however the restaurant staff need to be trained to be better aware of customer service in some areas. The room was disappointing because there was not near enough storage for clothing or in the bathroom. The sitting area in the room had a broken couch and there was one plastic chair on the balcony that broke the first time it was sat on and was not replaced. The Marina itself we found to be good, but expensive, compared to downtown restaurants.

Pleasant Hotel

Posted 27-Feb-2015
Pros: The location.and a very fast elevator.
Cons: The wi-fi. Reception of wi-fi in the room was virtually impossible and sometimes in the wi-fi room internet was very slow. Pigeons walk into room.
Location: Located at the end of the Marina Malecon it is very convenient to the restaurants and shops of the Marina.
The rooms are nice with a view of the Marina. Overall a nice hotel.

In the Marina

Posted 21-Feb-2015
Pros: We like that this hotel is not too big. We like that it's locted close to the airport and an easy trip to the malacon or Bucerias.
Cons: Would like Internet in the rooms and the rental of refrigerators back
Location: The marina has many bars, places for massage and to eat.
This was our 4th time at the Flamingo Vallarta. We love that it is located at the Marina. We always seems to get a room with a great view. This time we spent 4 nights and two full days right near the hotel. We laid by the pool ate at the palapa and enjoyed sunsets.

Nice hotel we could afford

Posted 14-Feb-2015
We enjoyed the large rooms, comfortable bed and the view of the busy marina. The couch was very worn and uncomfortable and the TV needed upgrading as well, but it worked. We were pleased with having a garden view , our patio opened up to the pool, which was very handy. My husband had surgery in a nearby hospital, and this was a nice central location close to the mall, airport. We enjoy walking so that was a plus.
