i wasn't sure where to stay in puerto vallarta. this hotel was quiet, safe & clean.

“Glad We Stayed Here”

We were very pleased with the Flamingo Vallarta. It was very clean, the service was excellent. We liked the location. We could walk to many restaurants and the view was very scenic. We could also catch a taxi or bus to downtown. It was a great value. The best part about it was that it was quiet, and off the beaten path- not a lot of people there, we liked that. Thank you.

“A true jewel for budget accommodation”

This was our 3rd visit. The hotel is budget, but is very clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. The rooms are large with big balconies. The bathroom has a good shower but is very basic. The furniture is dated but the room is large and comfortable. The location is ideal, quiet yet close to the shops and restaurants of the marina, a large supermarket, bank and drugstore is within walking distance as ell as local bus service to the malecon and downtown PV. “Delightful surprise.”

I was impressed with this hotel, I had read some previously posted reviews that made comments like "no elevator", "furniture shoddy (sp?) and out of date", "no bell man to help with luggage". When I arrived I was delighted find out that the hotel is close to the airport, in an interesting area in the Marina with lots of shopping around; the room was large and very clean, the bathroom large with a walk in shower; comfortable beds; patio doors opening to a beautiful pool, rather small but nice and clean, and a bar/restaurant (that serves poached eggs in the morning!). Definitely will go back.

For the surrounding area this is the most reasonable motel available. It is located right on the marina, shopping and dining steps away and conveniently located on the bus line. A great place for the money!

I use this hotel before and after my time share week. The best part is the Marina location (near the airport) and check out time (1:00 pm) which works for checking into my time share and my late departure for going home. The price is very reasonable and it fits my needs perfectly. I absolutely recommend it.
