"Honeymoon"
We stayed at Villa Premier in July 2015 for 9 days in the Spa Suite with the all inclusive package. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a welcome drink and cold towel. As we waited, we received a complimentary 5 minute massage. It was amazing and a great way to begin our honeymoon. The room was large and comfortable it had a view of the pool and beach. I got this suite instead of the honeymoon suite because each of us got a spa service. I got the pedicure while my husband chose the massage. There was a hot tub in the suite with a view of the balcony. Our bed was very comfortable and we got to choose our pillows. I can't say enough how impressed we were with the staff (Javier - poolside, Hugo-waiter, Gabby-hostess to name a few). Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. I felt like we were with family. The food was amazing. My husband is a foodie and he was blown away by the presentation and taste of our meals. We enjoyed the pools, cabanas and lounge chairs. We enjoyed the daily yoga classes (9am) and the gym. We participated in the cooking demonstration class(on Mondays) and my husband won the guacamole contest :) Checking out was simple. They gave us a copy of additional charges( tips on food). No hidden charges. They gave us cookies as a goodbye gift. I felt important from beginning to end. *We got caught at the airport by "free gifts" if you do a "time share" presentation. Don't do it. It's not worth the time and hassle. Also, get off the resort and enjoy P.V.

"amazing hotel in amazing town!!!!"
The room we booked said partial ocean view.if this is partial thats good for me! we had a view of pool and ocean. The room was clean and adequate not ultra modern 5 star but nice! I travel a lot and usually stay 5 star but this hotel met my standards.the restaurant was great good prices.I would recommend trying Lapa lapa outside the hotel best restaurant i ever been to.The hotel does have a musty smell but that goes with the territory you want ocean its the price you pay.

"Friendly staff and fun! Pleasant place to stay."
Our stay started with very few people at the hotel and we loved it! The wait staff were very interactive and attentive. The facilities are good, however, need some repairs. The food was very nice. Mid week the hotel filled up and things got crazy. There were a lot of young families and also young adults who were there unchaparoned. The young people were very disruptive, drinking through the night and very loud. It didn't appear to be a concern to the staff. Many of the young people were falling down drunk and vomiting and I didn't see any of the staff intervene. In all I would stay here again, but maybe not during the down season when school is letting out.

"Good family vacation... not a great couples hotel"
This was my second trip to the Marival. It is a great place for kids 5-10 years of age. I don't think my husband and I would come to this hotel if we were traveling alone without our children but the two bedroom suites are great for our family. The service is excellent in all areas, EXCEPT the pool area needs to be picked up of empty cups on a more regular basis. It seems as though cups are only picked up at the end of the day around the pool and it tends to make the area look dirty. On our previous trip we were only asked once about taking the breakfast meeting to discuss time-share options and were left alone. This trip, were asked at least a dozen times, from the first person when we arrived at check in, to the towel guy, to the any time we went to the lobby area. It became increasingly annoying. The food at the restaurants that require a reservation are all great. Be sure to make your reservation 5-7 days prior to arrival online if you want to eat at one of them on the day of your arrival. Otherwise, you will be forced to eat at the buffet and God help you on the Asian food night... yuck! The snack bars are great! The drinks are good. My kids enjoyed the non-alcoholic "drinks" menu at the pool bars and the lemonade is fabulous. Bottom line- if you have kids and don't mind the occasional sales pitch this is a good place. I would recommend it to families not honeymooners.

"Beautiful resort with amazing all-inclusive packag"
My husband and I stayed at Garza Blanca in a Junior Panoramic Suite for 4 nights in July. It was the "rainy season" but all that really meant was it was humid and we got spectacular thunderstorms at night. We had the all inclusive package which covered just about everything other than kobe beef and lobster. The drinks weren't watered down, the food was gourmet, our room became our home, and the staff became our friends. We have named this place our official vacation home base and will be back as soon as we can. PS. Check out Hotel Mousai. It's on the same property, run by Garza Blanca, adult only, and has smart rooms. Really amazing.

"It was a nice hotel, except the beds run small"
It was really nice , close to the beach, the food was average, the staff members were ok, the beds run small. We were told we got a king size but the king size was more like a queen size maybe a little bit smaller. Overall it was a nice hotel close to everything.

"Best views in Puerto Vallarta"
The Grand Miramar has the best view of Puerto Vallarta without a doubt. There is literally no other hotel up higher than it is. The views are absolutely breathtaking and I have never seen anything like it. From the moment we got there we were treated like royalty by the staff - everyone was super friendly, pulling chairs out for us, helping us in and out of cabs. Check in was smooth and our room was perfect. We spent the first day in shock because it seemed like a dream. We found out that apparently we came in the off season as we were practically the only ones there all week. We saw maybe a total of 12 other guests over the whole time we were there, but we always had a pool to ourselves and usually had the restaurants to ourselves, which was different but I honestly enjoyed it. 0 waiting and we always had drinks. It isn't on the beach but there is a shuttle that runs back and forth which was cool, and a taxi down to the beach is only 70 pesos. We went one day and I would say don't plan on spending an entire day there. The waves were huge to where we couldn't really play in the water and sitting in the beach chairs apparently puts a sign over you that says "try to sell me things" because there were people walking by every 10 - 20 seconds literally trying to sell us everything from hats to cigars. We didn't go back to the beach after that because we had a lot more fun at the hotel.

"Timing is everything..."
I am a fan of this hotel. It's beautiful and kept so clean. The manager Dario is kind and efficient. The only down side to my recent trip was the timing. In the summer Vallarta is flooded with families. The noise level of 12 to 18 kids in the small pool was intense. Huge groups arrive and sort of take over. I was alone, looking for a quiet retreat. My bad. But it's not the fault of the hotel. I'll return again when school is in session.
