Soooooo...I read reviews like crazy when booking trips so thought I would leave one. To set the baseline we are pretty easy to please and take things as they come. With that said use this info as you see fit for your personnel preferences. The staff at Sunset Beach were more than accomidating!!! Great personnel touch and always engaged!! Mario was our personnel butter and wow what a great person as an individual. Always asking if everything was ok. We had a couple small room maintenance issues and brought it to his attention. Theybwere fixing before i went backnup to room 30 minutes later. Our breakfast waiters were awesome and so enjoyable to start our day! For us we do enjoy a little evening entertainment and night life. We did feel our evenings were very laidback and for us too laid back. Therefore, we went to town a few nights which is 100 pesos there and back. We felt very safe taking the cab. We wanted to enjoy local culture and people and it was an easy trip to town from this loation. Overall it was a great experience and time for us. If you are looking for rocking environment this may not be your 1st choice, but outstanding service and people. Loved having all canned beer. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay a great one.

Excellent customer service and hospitable staff. Miguel from front desk remembered my name throughout our stay at the resort. Daily housekeeping was excellent! Daily food selection in our all inclusive package was amazing. Will definitely come back again next time.

The property was well located, a short drive from the airport and then again to Old Vallarta. It was safe and secure with someone at the gate 24/7. The staff were amazing from check-in, entertainment, dining and housekeeping. They were attentive but not overbearing, which all helped make the experience very enjoyable. Stand out was Raul in the entertainment staff. He was fantastic! Engaging, friendly and informative. He was always ready for a chat and really got guests involved with activities. Highlight definitely the water aerobics and pool black jack. The food was top notch, all meals, besides the events nights were a la carte, cooked fresh and presented impeccably. The bistro boasted a new menu each evening to keep things interesting. Snacks were always available. The bar staff were very accommodating and drinks delicious. If you are looking for a girls getaway or a week away with the family. This place is the perfect spot.
