The Hotel is good, Fan with squeaky noise, security employees whistling at 8:00am or early, around the hotel either employees or neighbors really noisy.

I use this hotel before and after my time share week. The best part is the Marina location (near the airport) and check out time (1:00 pm) which works for checking into my time share and my late departure for going home. The price is very reasonable and it fits my needs perfectly. I absolutely recommend it.

“Nice hotel”

I really like this hotel. I was looking for an affordable hotel because I had some personal business to do in Puerto Vallarta and I had to stay several days. This hotel is right on the Marina (it does not have a beach). For the price I paid I was expecting a modest hotel but I was actually surprised at how pretty it is and my room had a view of the marina! The staff were great. My room was cleaned daily and the lady always made towel sculptures with fresh flowers. I got a different sculpture everyday! I called maintenance a couple times (a light bulb, the phone died all of a sudden) and they fixed the problems immediately. I never ate at their restaurants so I can't comment on that. The pool was nice (from the outside, I never got in it, I prefer swimming in the sea!), but there was always people there that seemed to be having a good time.

“We Loved the Flamingo Vallarta”

Hola all! We just got back from an extremely hot and humid week in Puerto Vallarta. There were many bright spots, but one of them was surely the Flamingo Vallarta at the Marina. We were a little concerned when we saw the age of the Hotel, but our concerns evaporated when we got to our room and had a chance to check out the bed and furniture. There is certainly a bit of evidence of age on the furniture, but the bed was comfy and all the rest of the furniture was very clean and highly functional. The maid service was top notch and the cleanliness factor was 5 star. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. The relatively new business center was a great addition to our trip with the free wi fi. All amenities were available and if not in the room, were easy to aquire. The location is awesome, right on the Marina with the accompanying iguanas, oppossum, birds. In the marina water the colorful crabs, alligators and tropical fish. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would go back there in a heartbeat.

I use this hotel as a transition before and after my time share week. It is on the Marina - great for walking and restaurants, shops etc. as opposed to the time share location close to the town of Puerto Vallarta. A great find and very reasonable.

“PV's Super Stopover”

The Flamingo Marina Hotel is rated as a 2* probably because it is older Mexican in style and character. Rightfully so, it does not have all of the modern trim and functions. Rrooms are large and most have a sitting area. Doesn't have things like a hairdryer, etc. What it does give you is comfort and cleanlines and economy. For a one or two night stopover before heading to other places you will find it hard to beat. It is close to both the airport and bus terminal and just 10 minutes by taxi to downtown PV. It is right on the marina with all number of restaurants and bars within walking distance at reasonable cost. This is our 4th stay at the Flamingo and we would not hesitate to return.

“good reasonably price place to spend the night”

This was a handy place to spend one night. It is not a "resort" and therefore not suitable for more than a one night stay. We were enroute to Manzanillo and needed a place to spend the night. The marina was handy and had lots of restaurant choices that suited us quite nicely.The dining room did not open till 7am and our transportation was leaving at 7:30 so we were not able to sample their breakfast selection. A 6am opening time would have suited us better.

“A true jewel for budget accommodation”

This was our 3rd visit. The hotel is budget, but is very clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. The rooms are large with big balconies. The bathroom has a good shower but is very basic. The furniture is dated but the room is large and comfortable. The location is ideal, quiet yet close to the shops and restaurants of the marina, a large supermarket, bank and drugstore is within walking distance as ell as local bus service to the malecon and downtown PV.
