La Villita - Casual, ocean-view, open-air restaurant under massive thatch-roof palapa. Covered and terrace seating. Buffet and à la carte breakfast. À la carte lunch menu including appetizers, soups, salads, seafood, chicken, beef, and Mexican specialties such as tacos and faijitas. Sunday champagne brunch featuring mariachi music.

Recreation
The resort features two irregularly shaped heated pools, each measuring approximately 50 by 23 meters (164 by 75 feet) and each containing a swim-up bar and a shallow children's section. The pool in front of the Suites Tower is "quiet" and contains a rock-garden island with waterfalls and a 25-person spa tub. The Hotel Tower pool contains a volleyball net and serves as an activities center.
The resort's 200-meter (219-yard) oceanfront is divided between a rocky shore and a sand beach. A sand sunbathing terrace extends along the rocky shore. Independent operators on the beach offer rentals and services for personal watercraft, parasailing, banana-boating, and also arrange fishing trips and cruises.
Land recreation at the resort includes complimentary horseshoes and Ping-Pong as well as tennis on two lighted courts (surcharge).

“can't wait to recommend it to someone!”
This hotel is amazing! It's even more beautiful than the pictures suggest. I was extremely pleased during my stay. The location of the hotel is prime if you really want to experience Puerto Vallarta. It's a short walk to the downtown malecon where all the bars and restaurants are. It's also close to the Marina Vallarta. The view of the bay from the hotel is spectacular and the service is top-notch.
“Awesome Trip”
My wife and I had a great time at this hotel. We were staying there for a wedding over the New Year and we had a blast. All of the rooms have ocean views and the pool areas are very, very nice. Swim up bars, waterfalls, and a huge hot tub. The buffet in the morning is also very good. The only negative was the beach was a little rocky in front of the hotel but you can walk down the beach a little ways and find very nice beaches. Go and enjoy.

Beware - The offer of a "free" drink coupon includes a timeshare PUSH! Also, keep track of your charges - they don't request room identification when charging to your room. Otherwise - great place to stay.

I highly recommend the Sheraton for those who are looking to stay at a nice hotel at an affordable price. It is conveniently located to good restaurants, and to the downtown "Malecon" area where are the nightlife is. We were very pleased with our stay at the Sheraton.
“Loved it.”
I recommend this hotel. A girlfriend and I went there for a wedding. Although the weather is sticky and hot in July, the room was air conditioned, overlooking the ocean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. I had to drag my friend out of bed to go sightsee. The staff there were helpful and courteous. The food was good and the outdoor restaurant atmosphere was pleasant. Coffee in the morning with the ocean breeze is the best. Pool area is great as well. I had a good experience and recommend it for the anyone that likes things nice and simple.

The Sheraton was everything I expected it to be. I reviewed the pictures and descriptions and comments on the Expedia sight, and found all to be accurate. the grounds were clean and beautiful, the staff was friendly, and our room was fabulous. I selected the ocean view studio, and loved it. Having a kitchen and a balcony was great, the view was outstanding, and the Murphy bed (which I was worried about) was just fine! Would definitely go back. (Only downside was the high rate for a late check out.)
“Great Times”
The hotel was wonderful. When we checked in we were first given a room that had a mildew smell due to the humidity and openness of the room. However, when asked the hotel staff was quick to check up on it and in the end just switched rooms to one that was just fine. The food was great, the service was great and the hotel in general was top notch...I highly recommend this place! We also noticed a lot of families here and they all seemed to be having a great time!
“Darn Good Hotel; Best Location”
Hotel was excellent! Great food and service and we felt totally relaxed. The beds are just like all other reviews; rock hard. I really like how old town is a totally fun safe 10 min. walk away.
