A slow paced haven to relax. Exemplary service and astounding grounds and gardens. I will certainly return.

“Loved it”

Los Tules was fabulous - much better than I had expected. I was looking for budget accommodations and was pleasantly surprised to find out that budget and quality can go together. The staff was extremely friendly and the grounds were gorgeous.

“Loved Los Tules”

Everything about Los Tules surpassed our expectations. We loved the landscaped grounds, the pools and hot tub,the proximity to the beach and town and the traditional mexican atmosphere. Staff was polite and helpful. We were on first floor of an oceanfront condo which was lovely. We never went to the restaurant, preferring to eat in downtown or have breakfast in our room. Soriana was across the street for groceries, the shopping center also had internet cafes, restaurants and laundry facilities. If you are looking for modern facilities with nightlife this is not the place for you. Los Tules is a traditional Mexican resort with many Mexican families staying there. The rooms are clean but not updated. Showers worked great, towel service was provided.

“Very relaxing location”

Beautiful location with lots of coconut palms, great view of downtown PV, seven different pools to choose from, great maid service everyday in our rooms. This is a very relaxing and quiet resort even though on a very busy street right out front. Good location for shopping with the big mall right across the road. Gigante Supermarket is great for food shopping, bakery stuff for breakfast, etc. and is right in the middle of the mall. Bus stops right out front also and is very cheap and fun to ride. Asked for a rollaway bed but they don't provide those so we had to make do without but it worked out ok and our son slept in our room with us. The morning we left for the airport my husband accidentally left his huge camera bag in the lobby there at Los Tules. We were in a cab and the girl in the lobby found it and they rushed it out to the street before we had gone a block and gave it to my husband. My husband was so grateful for that and it saved us a big hassle of having it shipped back to us in Iowa. People working there were very kind and friendly. Would go back again to the same spot. The view from the pool area by the restaurant overlooking the bay, Puerto Vallarta downtown, the coastline was absolutely breathtaking. Los Tules was a great place for our family vacation.

“Haven from the crush of tourists”

We loved the location which was set far enough from town to be quiet, yet close enough to walk. The grounds are beautifully tended and clean. Avoid the restaurant which is pricey with hum drum food and terrible coffee. Select a superior room which are nicely decorated, facing the ocean, and come with fridge, microwave and patio or balcony. Believe me, it's worth the extra charge. This place is for people who like some serenity. It has more of a townhouse feel than a hotel feel. The beach is much quieter than in front of the megahotels.

“my personal review”

nice location on this trip ihad to vallarta i had to take my parents. it was a three story building which i liked specially becouse the convienience for them to go out with more freedom...better than a tower building where u get to be on the tweentieth floor to come down to the pool and go up to the room soaked..this hotel is a half mile resort with multiple pools and green gardens u have freedome to walk around and be safe...private beach very nice for disabled adults and wheel chairs...

“An alternative to the high-rise boxes”

Lovely grounds, a half mile of beachfront and well-kept, spacious rooms were the highlight of our visit to Los Tules. We loved the feel of the place -- rooms are in 2-3 story buildings scattered throughout the campus. A wonderful alternative to being boxed up in a high rise!

“Great family resort!!!”

Los Tules Resort is primarily timeshare condos. As such the hotel part is a secondary business. Los Tules Resort is a FAMILY resort. There is an excellent outdoor restaraunt, and other facilities. The other facilities are adequate. As a family resort it is EXCELLENT. Many pools, good security, lots of kids in the swimming pools and a LONG beach front. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The hotel rooms are older, quirky, charming, comfortable...and for our room a lot of stairs. We had 4th floor overlooking the beach and ocean, beautiful we saw dolphins in the bay every morning. :) Everything in the room worked...surround shower...fridge...air conditioning...good bed...good maid service. All Good. We were with family and it was as close to perfect as it could get. If it were just me and my wife, we might choose somewhere else...but for a family vacation...there is non better.
