"We loved how convient the location of our hotel was to attractions and dining without being directly in the middle of the bustling inner city. The panoramic view of the city from our deluxe suite was to die for and seemed like one of the highest vantage points within the city. Extremely walkable to everything we wanted to see including the markets and we never needed a taxi for our 6 day stay, although we did schedule group tours to farther destinations via passenger van. "This place was cheap and functional nothing fancy. The staff was helpful and nice but Oaxaca centro is kinda off-putting. It smells like garbage consistently and really doesn’t offer anything special. Great hotel if you want to stay en el centro, just don’t love el centro."

"I needed a place that was near the airport and the bus station. It needed to be near services, especially food. It needed to be relatively secure as I am an older woman traveling alone. It was all those things. It wasn't the best place I've ever stayed in nor was it by any means the worst. It was comfortable enough, the desk clerk received me with a tremendous amount of enthusiasm. It was within two blocks of decent dinner time restaurants. Easy to find cabs and not far from the bus station. It...

"The hotel staff were extremely nice and helpful. Free water at reception. Small balcony w 2 chairs. There is no warm water, which was ok because it was 35 degrees. The room was a bit dusty and theres space at the top of the door so i seen a few small spiders and a gecko came into the room at one point. No ac but a fan which worked ok. Wouldnt recommend if ur staying solo but for a couple would be nice. Overall pretty nice. "

"Casa lidia was perfect for our stay. It was a short walk into Centro in a really cute area. We were so comfortable in our room and slept really well. The hosts were very helpful and the daily breakfast was delicious! I had eggs with chorizo each day and it was yum!! "

"We loved staying here as it was super quiet and a very inexpensive Uber ride down to the Malecon, also alot of great breakfast & dinner options! However, the beds are very firm and difficult to sleep on - which if you enjoy really firm beds, this will be a plus for you! It was however a downfall for my husband and I and we got little sleep during our stay due to the beds. They have a great little communal kitchen and pool area :)"

"We had an amazing stay at this property. The pool was big and the swim up bar was a plus. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The buffet was plentiful and a good variety of different food every day. Loved the Italian restaurant. The rooms are clean and well serviced. The only negative was the shower leaked and the burnt out lightbulb didn’t get changed when we asked but honestly I would recommend this to anyone."
