"Was in Halifax for a convention and this was the perfect place to stay! Wonderful staff that are friendly, helpful and efficient. Beautiful room and bathroom were clean, very comfortable bed and pillows. Lots of shopping/restaurants nearby and walking distance to the harbour front. Had a view of Citadel Hill too which is also in walking distance. Excellent overall and would stay again if in the city. "

"The lobby is magnificent and the drawing rooms amazing. The room itself was a little dated, but no problem. Had an empty fridge that we could fill with drinks from the store. TV mix of American (Boston area), Canadian, and French channels--also lots of on-demand of latest movies. The bellhop was great at getting us taxis, but we're old; if you're young, most of the major attractions are easily walkable. Restaurants nearby, easy walk. Mini mart nearby for cheap snacks and drinks. Staff was consistently friendly and helpful. A great place to stay; we were there 7 days."
