"Wonderful staff, incredible location and hotel"
We spent 6 nights at the Ritz. It's a beautiful hotel right on 7 mile beach. We went right after Easter week and it was crowded, mainly on the beach, but still really lovely. The staff are all amazing and meet your every need. The beach itself is amazing and Grand Cayman is a place I would easily return to. We went with our 6 year old and our favorite part of Grand Cayman is that it feels very safe. We ate a lot across the street from the hotel at some great restaurants, The Sunshine Grill, Yoshi, Eats Cafe...for a fraction of the food costs at the Ritz. The food was fabulous everywhere but it VERY expensive. A breakfast for 3 people at the hotel buffet will easily run you over $120. We mainly ate lunch at the hotel at Barjacks which had great food and then explored elsewhere for other meals. There is so much to do on the island so get out and explore. We went snorkeling just 5 minutes down the beach from the hotel at Governers and saw rays, sea turtles and tons of fish. The stingray tour is a must. The turtle farm we caved and went to but kind of wish we hadn't. It's a sad place really and for the $60 we could have lived without it. But overall, there is nothing NOT to love about Grand Cayman and the Ritz is a really magical place to stay.

"Wonderful Hotel"
The hotel was really very nice. It was right on the beach and the view was wonderful! It was just the right size - not too big and not too small.

"Beautiful hotel on the prettiest beach!"
We loved the spacious rooms and exquisite furnishings of this hotel. The rooms were immaculate and cleaned daily. The front desk employees and maid service were also excellent. Also, the beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen and it was never crowded. Everything you would need to float, play or relax is provided by the hotel. The one negative is the poolside wait service. They are hard to find and slow!!! The food by the pool is also marginal. However, we didn't eat there more than one time and fixed our own drinks to bring to the beach. I would highly recommend this hotel for those that want a quiet, relaxing vacation on one of the world's most beautiful beaches. Also, we were surprised to find out that there are no waves in the ocean at this location. It is like swimming in a pool the water is so beautifully blue and clear. In addition there are no shells but only small pieces of coral. You can snorkel right in front of the hotel. You will be able to see the reefs from your balcony. I wouldn't worry about where your room is located in this hotel. The way it is configured there are no bad views.

"Great Experience in Condo on Beach"
We spent 6 nights at the Aqua Bay Club in a spacious, spotless 2BR/2BA condo right on the beach. The staff there is unbelievably accommodating. Claudette in the front office went out of her way over Easter weekend, above and beyond the call of duty to assist us when we needed some extra help. Our kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and we also used one of the outdoor gas grills to cook dinners. The beach is quiet and beautiful, with ample lounge chairs and shade. There is also a swimming pool. The condo was incredibly clean, and you do get housekeeping service and clean towels daily. I can't say enough about this place and we were very sad to leave. We are a family of 4 with 2 teens. The snorkeling right offshore is great, or you can take a short walk up the beach to Cemetery Reef. Thank you to Claudette and Deena, who make every effort to make you feel at home. Also a shout out to Ronald, who found my husband's ipod on the beach and returned it to an owner who was vacationing and returned it to us the next day.

"Second year in a row at this resort"
We had a great time at the Westin again this year. The hotel is beautiful and family friendly. The food is pretty good as well. Dialing out from our hotel room was a bit confusing....kept getting busy signals no matter how they advised us to dial #'s. The beach has white sand and they have plenty of watersports and excursions to keep you busy. 2 things to improve. They should offer more rooms with 2 double beds. We were traveling with our kids and needed that but could only get a room with a king size bed and had to request a rollaway bed (that comes with an additional daily charge). Other thing is the prices here are outrageous, like many places in the Caymans. I ordered 1 glass of champagne when lounging by the pool and was brought a bill for $23.20 for it!!!!! Back in Houston i could have gotten 2 full bottles of champagne for that cost :-(

"Beautiful location!"
Had an excellent two weeks staying at The Reef! To be steps from the beach really was amazing! Loved being on the main floor and in the third building away from the bar. We had a car which you need staying over on the east side, although there is a grocery store, liqour store and Italian restaurant across the street. The bar at the hotel is fun and the food was good, although we ended up eating in on our patio most of the time watching the ocean! Snorkeling was good right off the beach, although we did love Cemetary Beach and Smith's Cove on the west side.

"Excellent hotel. Busy but never felt crowded."
The staff were all very accomodating and attentive. There were very few lines for anything, like coffee in the morning etc. Everything was very efficient. The only thing that could have been better would be if they limited the snorkling gear rental to 2 hours not all day. Everything was gone the minute the desk opened in the morning so we couldn't go everyday.

"True Caymanian Experience"
We had a great time staying at Eldemire's. It is exactly what my girlfriend and I were looking for since we don't really like resorts. There is a fully equipped kitchen so you can make your own food. Very quiet and clean. Staff is super helpful; we mostly dealt with Tootie and she was amazing. They can arrange to book all kind of tours and excursions for you. A few minutes away by walk from great snorkeling spots like Smith Cove or Eden Rock, excellent restaurants within walking distance. Taxi to/from Georgetown are not expensive.
