"Keep this a secret ."
Coming from Canada we really surprised to see the U.S. dollar worth 25% less than the Cayman dollar so we really took a hit on our money exchange . As far as Grand Cayman goes ,yes the beaches are beautiful as with many Caribbean destinations, but a little over exaggerated. As SHANIA would say "That don't impress me much " unless your trying to fool yourself. Stingray City is a good bet and worth the visit. Would I return? Probably but only because of the hotel.

"Incredible, laid-back paradise!"
We are thrilled to have found this hotel after reading other reviews. We were initially staying on 7 mile beach and were very disappointed with the setting. We wanted to be in a more private area with a gorgeous beach and some charm. I looked into the Rtiz and the Westin and neither seemed to offer anything different that what we had at the Grand Cayman Beach Suites. If anything they were even busier! And all the hotels were right off of the loud road. So we found the Wyndham Reef Resort and liked how the reviews said it was relaxing, beautiful and on the quiet side of the island. We could not be happier with this find! the rooms are very comfortable - the bedding is fresh and luxurious and they moved us to a 3rd floor room with stunning ocean views that would have cost of $800 a night at another resort. The pools here are small but lovely and the beach is paradise. You can snorkel right off shore. We are pleasantly surprised that the food at the outside bar was excellent. The bar is open-air and has a great ambiance and dinner can be had in the sand under palapas. the service is excellent around the whole hotel. I can't say enough about how wonderful this place is. It's very casual so if you want something more upscale, this is probably not the place. We typically stay at high end pricey resorts and don't mind paying if the setting is fabulous. But I can say that when we come back to Grand Cayman we will stay here again and we can't wait to return!

"Interesting but not bad "
It could be more has great potential, not far at all from the airport $14 CI and $20 US. Sherika is so kind, understanding and friendly. The rooms are great and clean. I requested no service for my whole stay- they do need to get Do Not Disturb door hangers. Wish the prices were cheaper for food and drinks at bar on property but hey, we just went to the super market to buy food for our stay which you come out way cheaper. The poolside was fine. You will be surrounded by stacks but we didnt pay mind because we were out and about majority of our trip seeing the islands. Wish there was a beach behind the hotel but they use it for diving. We didn't have a vehicle but it was walking distance to Georgetown & from there we walked or took the bus - the bus is the best way to get around and cheap!

"Nice hotel away from the busy city"
Nice hotel in a quiet area of grand cayman. Far from anything to walk to..but they do offer a comimentary shuttle which goes to four locations (fosters supermarket, public beach, georgetown, and camana bay) and stops at 5 pm. So if you want to go anywhere after 5 you better get a taxi which can be a bit pricey. Overall it was a good experience with the hotel staff. The restaurant staff were very incompetent however; long waiting times when nobody was in restaurant and confusion with who has what duty or who has what table...never have one good experience at the restaurant. My biggest advice would be to plan out transportation ahead of time with the commentary shuttles to and from the attractions on the island.

"Beautiful seven mile beach condo"
This was our 4th visit to Grand Cayman, our 1st time at Aqua Bay. We are hooked! The grounds are immaculate, the condo was clean and perfectly appointed. Beds were comfy and kitchen has everything we needed. The screened patios are great for evening dining, hammocks perfect, beach not crowded at all. Very quiet, great for family vacation!

"Morritts provides best value in Grand Cayman"
Morritts is a fantastic kid friendly resort located on the laid back East End of Grand Cayman. We enjoyed our stay very much, The condo was super clean, modern and a comfortable home away from home. Snorkel and Dive trips can be booked on property. One of the best restaurants in Cayman, Tukka, is about a mile from Morritts.

"A Very Nice place to stay"
We had a great time at Eldemires! We stayed for a week. It is walkable to Georgetown and some great snorkeling at Smith's Cove. Everything was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the pool area between other adventures. The rates are very reasonable and it was helpful to have use of the full sized kitchen. Tootie gave us a great recommendation for our Anniversary dinner --We went to the Grand Old House. It was beautiful and the food was excellent --it was also walkable from Eldemires. If you are not renting a car, you need to walk to Georgetown to catch a bus pretty much anywhere. That worked out well for us. However, if you don't like walking, it would be best to rent a car. We really had a great time and Eldemires helped make the trip enjoyable and affordable.

"Exceeded Expectations"
We travel to Grand Cayman once or twice a year. Each visit, we try to stay on a different part of the island. This was our first time staying on East End. As scuba divers, the diving experience with Ocean Frontiers, and the East End dive sites were every bit as wonderful as Bloody Bay Wall in Little Cayman. The diving is the best on the island. We rented a 2nd floor, poolside, one bedroom condo. My husband and I shared the bedroom, while our adult daughter slept in one of the murphy beds in the living room She said it was very comfortable. The condo had two full bathrooms, stocked kitchen, and large balcony overlooking the pool with a view of the ocean. The condo was roomy, and clean. We prepared our own meals, often using the poolside gas grills provided. Compass Point offers a choice of housekeeping services to suite your needs or budget. We ate lunch at Eagle Rays Restaurant. The atmosphere is casual, and the food was good. The restaurant/and or hotel had special evening events such as an Asian night, and a movie night with buffet (I think). We were very satisfied.
