We loved the location, we were able to walk to everything in Southport and its just a short drive to Caswell Beach. My only issue was there was limited cell service and no secure internet. "This place could not be more perfect. Locationally a 2 minute walk to the beach, maybe a 5 minute walk to the boardwalk to get breakfast or lunch. We had a large group and it accommodated all of us perfectly. Whenever we had a question about anything, Brad answered within 5 minutes (even at 11pm). So thankful for that! We will be back!"

The grounds itself has plenty to do from tennis/pickleball, 2 hot tubs, 3 pools (one indoor), playgrounds, etc. It also has direct beach access and is walkable to a few shops, even to the boardwalk if you don't mind walking a bit. We walked to the circle in the morning to get coffee and a walk on the beach. The property does have some age and little things showed the age, but it was very clean. "The management company, particularly Barbara, was very helpful and prompt in replying to all questions. Five stars for this! The house was spacious and accommodated our group of 13; however, the house is in need of updating. The dryer went out during our stay but was repaired but all appliances need to be upgraded. Pressure washing is needed for the exterior as we were unable to use the outdoor furniture due to the bird droppings and spider webs. Carpet is also in need of replacement. Although...
