"Great location, good for young couples."
Check in was a breeze and we had a fine room on the 7th floor. I requested a room away from Vertigo, the club in the top floor and when I heard music bumping I was surprised. I walked around the floor to realize that the music shaking my walls was from 2 rooms away. I hadn't yet inspected and looked over my room, but when I did I saw a LARGE mp3 music player in the room that really cranked. It was very nice to have that option, but if you are coming to the hotel with kids or people that might want to sleep early, be warned since other rooms have the ability to get loud. That all being said, in the evening it was not loud and we slept well. However, the walls are very thin and noise does happen. The bed was the most comfortable bed, too. Great staff, great location, I would go again. I got this room to celebrate my wife's 40th and she said it was the best downtown Chicago hotel we've been to.

"Modern hotel centrally located"
This is a very modern hotel. I stayed in a studio room on the 9th floor. I loved everything about this hotel. It had a very well stocked mini bar and the amenities were very nice. What hotel gives you a loofah? This one! We were also able to check in an hour and a half early ehcih was wonderful. We sat and had drinks after dinner at the bar in the lobby. Our bartender was excellent. Drinks weren't too expensive considering it was Chicago. I do have one complaint. The walls are VERY thin. I was talking on the phone and my husband could hear every word I said in the hall with the door closed. There's inly 5 rooms per floor and I stood at the far end of the hall and could hear two men talking in their room on the other end of the hall. That's really the only negative thing about the hotel.

"Chicago's Best Kept Secret"
We loved this boutique hotel from the moment we checked in. Our room was very clean and quiet. The atmosphere is awesome. We did up grade to a King Suite room and it was perfect. The free coffee delivery service in the morning was a nice little surprise as well. The location of this hotel is perfect, only 2 blocks from Michigan Avenue Shopping and lots of places to eat in the area as well.

"Perfect hotel in the very center of the city."
This place was amazing. Room was great, staff was super nice, like really freaking nice. I mean this place was so great looking. I walked into the lobby and felt so underdressed next to the Starbucks, snazzy little cocktail bar, desk of iMacs, lounge chairs and cozy fireplace all while light tinkling piano music played. This looks like a 5 star hotel in Silicon Valley where you need to wait 3 months for a reservation and you can only enter if are a member of some exclusive club. There is a bar in the lobby open to 10pm, a bar on the 19th floor open till midnight, a 24hr fitness floor, and the rooms... Oh man beautiful windows, the shampoo and body wash they give you is gentle on your hair and body, it smells great too. The coffee in the room wasn't bad and the room was of ample size. We had a queen single room. We couldn't have been happier. Then the next morning we came down and asked the clerk about breakfast, she suggested 3 little places near by immediately, gave us directions and said 'Just call the front desk if you get lost, I'll walk you through!' I am in love with this place. I live in the city of Chicago and just stayed there just because, but now I'm going to be staying there a lot more instead of my own home! If you can get the room at a good price book this place. This second. Do it.

"Excellent hotel and staff!"
Everything from the minute that you walk in the door is just perfect! I was traveling with family & my dog. They went out of their way to confirm that all of us were comfortable including Maddy. I have stayed here before and this will always be my destination when I travel to Chicago.

"Nice hotel, interesting decor, friendly staff"
From the beginning the bell hop Edgar was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He asked the reason of our stay which was my girl friends birthday and he personally delivered a bottle of wine to our room. Great overall experience.

"A well located property that offers great design."
Well thought out amenities, sophisticated design and great location provide an oasis of calm when visiting this energy charged city. The restaurant s breakfast is passable. though I never ate dinner there, it is said to be good. There is a fitness room and a lovely glass enclosed pool for healthful endeavors. Meeting interesting guests at the hotels free daily 5pm free wine reception is a treat!

Do you like money? Who doesn’t! Visit the Money Museum, which was established by the U.S. Federal Reserve. Check out a large cube made up of $1 million, as well as exhibits on counterfeiters and historical currency. For something less expensive, head to Oak Street Beach for a stroll. If it’s a windy, cold day, bring your coat; if the Midwest sun is hot, bring your flip-flops. Once the night falls, don’t take it as a signal to head back to your room just yet. Head to Cubby Bear, a sports bar by day, music venue by night. Established in 1953, this meeting spot was vital to the Chicago punk music scene in the late 1980s and early 1990s. While the tunes vary these days, it’s still the place to see a local band on the brink of success.
