"Great location, safe area, good hotel."
The hotel was not far from the main public transport routes, and within a comfortable walking distance to the city. Staying in winter, the heating was more than adequate, and we returned to a cosy room every night! In fact, we even had to turn the heating down and open the window a few nights, it was that efficient! The beds were comfy, and the bathrooms very clean. The mini bar is set up in a way that seems to try and trick you - bottles of water on the side are not free, no sign to say they are chargeable, and the hotel charges you a silly amount if you've had one. The rooms would also be made a lot better with a little kettle. In the lobby there is free tea and coffee from the machine, but it tasted strange, as if it hadn't been washed out properly. So much nicer to make a hot drink in your room after a cold day out, really missed that feature. The hotel restaurant is great for a no hassle Bavarian meal, some minor noise from music on weekends, but that all seemed to stop at about 11pm anyway. All in all, clean, safe, and warm for a winter break. Great view of a square with a lovely church, and some love cafés and restaurants in the neighbourhood. Easy walk into city centre, or trams, buses and underground for those who don't fancy a little walk.
