We had 2 rooms, 2 people in one, 3 in another (with cot). Great customer service. Great breakfast - a full one, not just typical European fare. Stayed 2 nights. Not super close to Marienplatz, but we were able to walk there in about 15 min. We could have taken the subway next door, but didn't think we needed to go to the trouble.
Great facilities and a beautiful room. It was the perfect room for practical needs and also for a relaxing luxurious environment with a nice big strong shower. I was delighted. And the staff were relaxed prompt and professional. I would love to stay again
this hotel offers the amenities that one expects as in U.S. By the same name. The lobby is quite busy in the evening because the hotel is used by group touring companies. The subway access is just below the hotel and you can do some shopping here as well. There is a restaurant on site and the breakfast here is quite good.
This is an excellent hotel which caters for our needs with 2 young children. The room is spacious and the kitchenette, though largely unused during our stay, was very well equipped.
They do a great hot breakfast, and the wife variety makes fussy tummies happy.
The only disadvantage would be the distance from Ostbahnhof. It's a 5-7 minute walk, which is ok without tired kids in tow, but a niggle with. You might want to checkout and leave your luggage at Ostbahnhof (3-5€) if your flight is late in the day instead of trekking back to the hotel.
I would definitely recommend this hotel still, as it's excellent value for money
The hotel is comfortable and clean with a modern design. The room was a comfortable size and staff were friendly. The location was some distance away from the Maianplatz. It is walkable, but not an easy walk. The breakfast was great with a good selection

The Hotel Prinz is located quietly but central close to the 'Gasteig Kulturzentrum' and the German Museum. The Hotel offers …More
We made an easy walk from the train station to the hotel and were greeted not very warmly by the woman at reception. It was obvious she didn't want to be there and gave us the impression we were putting her out by asking about transit and walking distances to town. The room was clean and spacious although it was a bit warmer than we like and didn't seem to vary even when the temperature was turned down. We were told it was because their air conditioning is different than North American air conditioning.
The area was perfect for sight seeing on foot, only about a 15 minute walk to the heart of the old City. We also took advantage of the fact the hotel was right next to the river and the beautiful park and paths that can be found there.
Breakfast was included and was substantial with meats, cheeses, breads, fruits and more.
I would stay here again.
Just east of the old town and across the Isar River, Haidhausen is home to Paulaner, one of Germany's biggest breweries. The Bavarian Parliament is also here, as is the Deutsches Museum, the Angel of Peace statue towers, and a large swimming pool at Ludwigsbrücke.
