The hotel location is in a quite area and very close to a metro station . A supermarket and a coffee shop is closed as well.
Rooms are very clean and staff are good.
It is my second visit and it will be my only option in Munich
The only thing I didn't like is I had to wait for an hour when I checked in as the system was down.
I don't want to give the impression that the Rilano is a luxury property, because it isn't. Price and location wise, it's a fairly standard business hotel with a nice bar and restaurant onsite.
That said, this makes any of the Marriott Courtyards and Hilton Garden Inns in the States look like roadside motor lodges.
The property was recently renovated, and rooms in the 5-story tower were excellent. Clean, spacious and comfortable with tasteful, modern furniture. Bathrooms were also first rate, with excellent water pressure, and plenty of hot water. No tub, but not a big deal in my book.
The on site restaurant was very reasonable for dinner, and the quality of the food was quite good. It's Germany, so you're still out 20-30 Euro for a decent entree, but that's to be expected most places.
All in all, a wonderful experience, and far better than I would have expected for similar money in North America. Highly recommended.
This is a very modern and pretty conveniently located facility. Short drive to airport
just a few blocks walk from subway which was 2 stops from the English Gardens one of the main gardens in Munich. There is also parking - not free but reasonably priced.

Told me the possible choice of pillow when I checked out. That is after my suffering with the "felft nothing" pillow. The deco seems old, but actually should be new. No taste, no art or modern feeling although the room furnishing should be new. But overall is good due to it's great location and good pricing.
"Comfortable & friendly hotel near the Olympiapark"
I was very pleased with my stay. It's a nice hotel with comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast was great and was handy to leave bags during the day after check-out. Room was nicely furnished and quiet.
The hotel is situated in a pleasant area near the Olympiapark, which is slightly away from the noisy and over-priced hotels close to the Marienplatz. Public transport in Munich is EXCELLENT! It's a short walk to the U-Bahn at Hohenzollenplatz (or you can jump on the tram/bus for a couple of stops if you have luggage). If going to the Marienplatz, a short bus hop then U-Bahn from Muncher Freiheit is an easy way to get to the main square.

A nice enough hotel when you need a basic and typical hotel with a convenient suburb and quiet environment. The rooms are small but well organized and comfortable. The heating and air is central and quiet with a adjustable height shower that is plenty tall for anyone up to 6'3" without bending. Internet was difficult for me with free allotment of data running out quickly but 5 euro per day for internet after that is not so bad. Breakfast was OK and expensive, and I could not have dinner when the burger was 17 Euro. I went out as this was too much. The attached coffee shop is good and a better choice for budget minded people like me.
Chose this location to get away from the seedy area around the Hofbaunhof. History abounds with statues to Ludwig, King of Bavaria. Adjacent to Ludwig Maximilian University, the historical setting of the movie Sofie Scholl --- the Final Days.

Schwabing is Munich's social and nightlife hub. Much of the activity takes place day and night on Leopold Strasse, which has the huge Siegestor. Nightclubs are crammed around Wedekindplatz. The city's most popular beer garden is at the Chinese Tower in the English Garden, while further north is Olympiapark, which was built for the 1972 Olympics.
