"Door to bathroom was broken. We were finally moved to another room but the room should never have been released by housekeeping initially. Original room faced major construction. I think hotel tried to get rid of the room because it was “ prepaid”. Our friends checked in at the same time and were given an upgraded room ( they didn’t prepay)"

"I’ve stayed at this hotel quite a lot in the past, but I think they are lowering their standards lately. The fire alarm kept going off for quite some time late in the evening. I tried to get a drink from the bar and they wouldn’t serve me. I understand they don’t work open the bar all But when you disturbed the fire alarm, I thought it should be possible to at least get a drink To say this is a five star hotel they need to look at their policies"

"I was extremely impressed by Middle Eight. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. There was plenty of room to stretch out for a 4-night stay. I'm very happy that we picked this hotel over others that would have been more cramped. Housekeeping did an incredible job of refreshing the room every day.
