"Hotel staff was great. Nuria was very informative on local activities and getting us to where we wanted to go. We were able to get to a viewing site for the Matterhorn thanks to her help. Room was large and comfortable. Bathroom and shower were nice and spacious. One of the few hotels that I actually didn't want to leave, because I was comfortable there. "

"Absolutely beautiful hotel in an equally stunning location. So convenient to the train station and to the Gornergrat mountain rail. Very clean room and excellent amenities in the room and facility. Wish we could have stayed longer, will definitely return. Very helpful and friendly staff to guide us in the right direction around Zermatt."

"The hotel was beautiful! Pool and spa! We had a room overlooking the Matterhorn! The front desk and concierge weren’t credibly helpful! Just a 5 min easy walk to the Sunnega lift! So special for a romantic getaway or family trip! "

You are in the heart of the shopping/dining district in Zermatt. The staff went out of their way to provide excellent customer service and the room was very spacious with modern amenities. "I had a fantastic stay at the rex. I was blown away by the morning breakfast spread from local sources, including their in house bakery. Additionally, their spa center (indoor pool, 3 saunas, hot tub, etc) was perfect after a day of skiing. The room was comfortable and the lounge on the main floor was comfortable. overall, I was surprised by my stay at the rex and would come back again"
