We stayed at Cowley Manor for 2 nights after our wedding and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The hotel facilities and grounds were fantastic and the food excellent, especially breakfast. I found the evening meal we had in the restaurant slightly over-priced at £118 (exc. tip) for 2 x 3 course meal plus a £26 bottle of wine but that didn't detract from the overall experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Cowley Manor to anyone who fancies a relaxing couple of days away, particularly if the weather is good which enables the hotel grounds to be enjoyed to their fullest.

When we arrived we received a very warm welcome from the owners of the hotel, the room and en suite bathroom were very nice and clean, the breakfast was excellent and our widow table was reserved each day without even asking, a newspaper was also provided.

We needed an overnight stop to visit Badminton Horse Trials (yes they were all guilty, heard it all before!) with our terrier.
There was no reticence at all about him being in our room, the bar or restaurant as long as he was well behaved.
The dinner menu was exceptional, as was dinner, but I would advise anyone planning to stay, to book in for dinner when you book your room if you wan to eat there. The restaurant was very busy.
We will be back if we need to stay in that area again.
