When we arrived we received a very warm welcome from the owners of the hotel, the room and en suite bathroom were very nice and clean, the breakfast was excellent and our widow table was reserved each day without even asking, a newspaper was also provided.

We stayed at Cowley Manor for 2 nights after our wedding and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The hotel facilities and grounds were fantastic and the food excellent, especially breakfast. I found the evening meal we had in the restaurant slightly over-priced at £118 (exc. tip) for 2 x 3 course meal plus a £26 bottle of wine but that didn't detract from the overall experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Cowley Manor to anyone who fancies a relaxing couple of days away, particularly if the weather is good which enables the hotel grounds to be enjoyed to their fullest.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The B&B is in a small classic village in the Cotswolds. For us, it provided a great place to relax and unwind. The staff were the best. Very warm and friendly and made us feel right at home. The food was outstanding for both breakfast and dinner. The B&B was previously owned by a race horse trainer and is themed around horse racing. The was perfect for us as my wife is a horse enthusiast. There is a horse training facility about 2 miles away, and we went and watched the horses run one morning. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We stay in two different rooms, both Ensuite, but their Superior or Supreme room was very spacious and an outstanding value.

We have stayed at the Swan Hotel for two nights and we had an absolutely amazing experience. The hotel rooms are very pretty, and you really do get to have a sense of what it is like to be living in one of those houses in the villages. Despite the building looking (and most likely being) traditional, the interiors are nicely maintained and was very clean. Hotel staff were very helpful. I highly recommend you spending at least one night at Bibury as you will it is so much more peaceful and beautiful in the morning and evenings when there are less tourists around. I would certainly go back to the Swan Hotel if I go back to Bibury.
