Our stay at Beachcomber Island Resort was truly one of the highlights of our Fiji vacation. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by an incredibly warm and friendly team that made us feel like part of the island family. The staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure that every guest had an enjoyable and memorable experience. The location is absolutely stunning. The resort is situated on a beautiful island surrounded by crystal-clear turquoise water, white sandy beaches, and amazing snorkeling opportunities just steps from the shore. Whether relaxing on the beach, watching the sunset, or exploring the reef, the scenery was breathtaking from every angle. One of the biggest surprises was the quality of the food. Every meal was fresh, well-prepared, and offered a good variety of options. The chefs did an excellent job balancing local flavors with international selections, and the dining atmosphere overlooking the ocean made every meal even more enjoyable. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were consistently satisfying, and there was always something new to try. The resort atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between relaxation and social activities. There were plenty of opportunities to meet other travelers, participate in island activities, enjoy water sports, or simply unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The island is small enough to feel intimate yet offers enough activities to keep guests entertained throughout their stay. Overall Rating: 5/5

Our stay at Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa was outstanding and easily one of the highlights of our trip to Fiji. From the moment we arrived, the resort delivered an exceptional combination of luxury, comfort, and genuine Fijian hospitality that made our vacation both relaxing and memorable. The location is superb, situated on Island with beautiful views across the ocean and easy access to local attractions, shopping, and transportation. The resort grounds are immaculately maintained, featuring lush tropical gardens, stunning pools, and inviting beachfront areas that create a true paradise atmosphere. Whether enjoying a morning walk along the waterfront or watching the sunset in the evening, the scenery was breathtaking. One of the standout aspects of our stay was the food. Every restaurant we visited offered high-quality meals with excellent variety and presentation. Breakfast featured an impressive selection of fresh fruit, pastries, hot dishes, and local specialties. Lunch and dinner menus provided a great mix of international cuisine and Fijian-inspired flavors. The seafood was particularly fresh, and every meal felt like a special occasion. The resort's dining team consistently delivered excellent service and ensured a wonderful dining experience throughout our stay. The staff truly made this resort exceptional. Clean, friendly staff, great spot, water activities were great. Some of the conservation activities didn’t happen and there was no communication about it which was strange as we were waiting and nobody arrived.

We were not aware of the extreme extra costs when we booked and that happened several times while in Fiji, speaking to other travelers they said the same. We spent nearly $700 USD for our 4 day stay and when we arrived so many extra charges at 11pm charges in American came to $900 USD. It was a nice stay the beach wasn’t really clear or to swimmable and really that’s all you want when you travel halfway around the world. Everything else was nice. Just BEWARE of half of dozen extra costs when you arrive.
