Stayed at The Clair for 3 nights recently. The front desk staff was very efficient and welcoming throughout the stay. The location was very convenient, and overall the hotel was fairly quiet — even being on the 3rd floor near the pool area, hallway noise was minimal. The hotel was renovated a few years ago, according to staff, and while everything appeared to be in acceptable condition from a maintenance standpoint, the overall design direction felt confused. It seemed to attempt a semi–Art Deco update, but it never fully came together. There were still traces of what may have been the original Holiday Inn / influence underneath, and honestly, embracing and refining that into a cleaner Updated Mid-Century Modern concept would likely have created a much stronger identity. Unfortunately, the rooms carried the same somewhat dull and heavy atmosphere as the lobby and common areas. Housekeeping also missed a few details during the stay — we had to request fresh coffee mugs, and the drinking glasses were never replaced during the three nights. Overall, the stay was comfortable enough because of the quiet environment, efficient staff, and convenient location, but the property could benefit from a more cohesive design vision and tighter housekeeping attention.

The apartment was clean, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. Everything I needed was right there, and the space felt modern and well-maintained. Parking was great! Perfect for our family vacation — we’d definitely come back!

Just need to maintain their restroom else good

Everything was pretty perfect. My room was missing the remote, but I simply requested one, & had it within minutes. The room was clean, sized well, & very comfortable. Parking was easy, convenient, & the valet staff were on point. Hotel was centrally located for all the things I had planned & I even ran into the Asian Food Festival while there. I had a great time.

The hotel was pretty easy to maneuver. The elevators are a little high-tech. And it’s in a really great location for access to things throughout Cincinnati.

This is a very unique and trendy hotel. The bars and restaurants are all top quality. The staff are absolutely amazing and go out of their way to be helpful with anything you may need. It is an amazing property and walking distance to so many restaurants and shops. Will definitely return and stay again.

This is an affordable stay option. Paul and the staff were attentive and cordial. If (and when) I come back to Columbus, I most definitely will book a room again.

My son and I were in town for the Sonic Temple festival and I am so glad we chose this hotel. It was perfect. Location, staff, breakfast, rooms, everything was amazing!! If we are ever back in the area, this is where we will stay!

We stayed here with a group of four adults and two children, and the space worked really well for us. There was room for everyone to spread out comfortably, which made the stay easy and enjoyable. The hotel was clean, which we really appreciated, and overall it felt like a good value for the price point. The amenities matched expectations—nothing overly luxurious, but everything we needed was there. The breakfast was fine and did the job, and the staff stood out as especially friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There were a few downsides. The beds were just okay—not the most comfortable—and the pull-out sofa was quite poor, which could be an issue depending on your group’s sleeping arrangements. Also worth noting: the pool towels were surprisingly small. Overall, this was a solid, comfortable stay that met our needs well, especially for a larger group traveling together at an affordable price point.
