The noise is unbearable. We were on the third floor and had small windows connected a metal stairway that is so loud and it was like they were having a party up on the roof all night. We had to be up at 1am to catch a flight and couldn’t sleep at all. Between the paper thin walls where we hear everything the other rooms in our hall were doing and the loud party, we couldn’t sleep. At $500 a night this was unacceptable. The place is clean and comfortable, but you can’t relax at night with all the noise.

The pool and upstairs lounge area was great, but the rooms did not match the cost. They need to replace several fixtures in the bedroom but the balcony view was nice this felt like a 3-star but charged 4 star prices.

What a cute little room! I was pleasantly surprised. I had room number 9 upstairs. The room was clean and tidy and pleasantly decorated. The bathroom was quite large- huge shower with hot water and good pressure. There was a bench to leave my open suitcase on as well as some wire shelving and hangers to store more clothing. There were bath and beach towels in the room. Although I didn’t need beach towels, it was nice to know that they were there if I had more time to visit a beach. The location was great. Out the door and turn right you can find Starbucks and lots of bars and restaurants. Straight ahead is the Plaza and one of the forts. The room had a smoke/CO detector on the wall (I remember reading in the listing that perhaps there wasn’t one. There was.) The room had a smart TV. If you have Netflix or streaming services at home bring your log in info. There weren’t many free options for TV service. This didn’t bother me at all because I didn’t come to Old San Juan to watch TV lol. Probably the most important thing was that I felt safe there. Overall, this was a good pick for a short stay. Pool and beach were awesome. Staff overall was average. Some were nice & friendly while others hospitality skills were lacking. Resort is beautiful.

The beach was nice but the lounge chair cushions were filthy …. The casino customer service was mediocre
