Anne's Land Mountain Vacations

This is a very unique hotel which makes for both positives and negatives. The hotel consists of some 20 buildings around the main hotel building. The other buildings are reconverted houses or businesses done into hotel rooms. Our building was a short walk away to where the breakfast was served each morning. The whole area was remarkably quiet. On the positive it’s located in a great location. We could walk literally everywhere. And there are no shortage of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The main reception area is beautiful with a turn of the last century feel to it. An excellent breakfast is served here as well as happy hour on certain days. Sitting for happy hour or even just relaxing in those chairs after a long day is very wonderful. You could feel the history here. However sitting in those large chairs with your plate in your lap is actually rather awkward and takes away from the experience. Another positive is the hotel room is very clean, spacious and comfortable. The bed was good and we never felt crowded in the room. It was a bit of a walk back to the breakfast room but not that big of a deal (although during inclement weather that might be a challenge). We did have noise issues with the room above and we asked to be relocated to a quieter room. This sadly took way from our experience in the hotel.

The location of Rodd Charlottetown Hotel is excellent. We were able to walk to the bus tour pick up locations, walk to harbour front shops, Queen street shop. No need to rent a car. Pool was great and warm. The restaurant salads and children’s meals were very good and average price. Best cup of tea I had on the island and within walking location of two Cows ice cream shops. Also, within walking distance of confederation Plays.

Historic homes in excellent condition. Lovely room, very comfortable bed. Walk to the waterfront. Very pleasant surprise to find them and will recommend to our friends.

We loved our stay at this beautiful inn. We were three generations travelling together so the separate bedrooms, big living space and multiple bathrooms were exactly what we needed. Staff was helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was always delicious with a great variety. Rooms were cleaned with care. The location was great — quiet neighborhood just short walk from restaurants, shops and the water. Our only issue was the first morning of our stay when the breakfast room was too busy for our party of three to find a seat. If I had any suggestions, they would be to expand the seating area for the breakfast room, and consider better access to outlets in the bedrooms for device charging. (It was quite a trick to try to get to the outlets behind the bed to be able to plug in our phones and other devices to charge at night.) Very minor things compared to the rest of our stay. We truly enjoyed our visit overall and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Are cottage wasn't what expected,it was joined to the house of whoever runs property,can hear thumping through walls,garbage bins across from the deck,it wreaked when wind was blowing,we expected a cottage seen in pics,stayed 1 night went elsewhere

Everything from checkin to the actual stay to checkout was very smooth! Staff was super helpful over Expedia messages, with a response time of around 1 hour (for non-urgent inquiries). The place was in great condition and super convenient!

Great location to walk around downtown. Parking and breakfast are both a plus. The mattress needs replacing, at least in the room I was in. The hotel was quiet
