We loved the hotel but our room was a bit tight, in my opinion. The restaurant was great for breakfast and dinner. Plenty of parking behind the hotel, on property. Great location. We had a situation at check in. The keys provided didn't work, the first time and again. But Mehr at the reception, was not only deeply apologetic, but fixed it quickly and efficiently. Very pleased with the staff overall. This was our second Rodd in a week and we strongly recommend it.
Great historic hotel that is being very well taken care of, great staff, super comfortable bed and pillows, and a great location in the heart of Charlottetown
This is a beautiful old-fashioned 1930's designed hotel. The lobby is beautiful and the dining room and bar are close at hand. The dining room had a pretty 'heritage' atmosphere. The meals from breakfast to dinner were delicious. The dining room staff were courteous and answered our questions
The property was well kept and the outdoor sitting areas were plentiful. An excellent spot for a morning coffee, conversations with friends or relaxing with a great book.
The pool was refreshing and according to my daughter the sauna was the main event.
One can't beat the location to explore the city. Our tour pick-up and return was at the front door. The bed was comfortable especially after a day taking in the sights outside the city.
The sofa bed was an added gem for those of us who are up later.
I felt safe on the premises and decided Charlottetown and the hotel would be an excellent place to return to by myself. I need to explore more there and its a short flight from home.
Wonderful experience! My room was ready hours before the check in and I was allowed to check in early which made a huge difference for me. The room was clean and pleasant. Great stay!
