My second time staying at New Grand. They did not disappoint me. The staff were so professional with smiles. The hotel room is a traditional style which I like. It is a historic hotel with a beautiful lobby entrance. I would stay again!

We stayed in the luxury twin suite with the bathtub view of the ferris wheel. For the price, I had expect a litte more. This place needs a revamp. The finishing are showing age and the carpets need replaced. My biggest problem was after the second day, a man walked in my room after it had been cleaned, no knock, nothing announcing his enter, while I was in a state of undress. I choose to engage the privacy button for the next 5 night stay so no one entered my room. Staff: we were not advised at check in what amenities were available, no explanation of the pool, gym, or anything. Just gave us our key and that was it. This was a special anniversary stay of 7 nights. I was disappointed and would not stay here again.

The parking valet, location, and view was excellent. The breakfast buffet was also excellent. The front desk staff was not particularly helpful. Both nights of my stay, my room key did not work. It took a while to resolve and I had blisters the second night from walking so much, making it extra annoying. They forgot I was staying a second night and forgot to warn me that the streets would be closed when I arrived.
