We’ve stayed at this hotel before and had a great experience, which is why we decided to come back. The hotel is in a nice location, the property is clean and comfortable, and overall we enjoyed our stay again. The one disappointment this time was the parking. On our previous visit, parking was included at no additional charge. This time, we were charged €40 per day, which was unexpected and, in my opinion, quite expensive. I understand that rates and policies can change, but that is a significant additional cost that would have been nice to know about upfront. Other than the parking charge, everything else about our stay was great. We enjoyed the location and the hotel itself. Unfortunately, with the added parking expense, we will probably look at other properties the next time we visit Paris.

Fannie, the manager, and her staff were so kind and helpful. Every person who worked at the hotel took good care of my family and made sure our stay was memorable! The hotel is so quiet and comfortable we will recommend it to our friends!

I chose Le Meurice because of its reputation as one of Paris's premier palace hotels. While the property is beautiful and the location exceptional, the service fell far short of what I expected. The disappointment was not one isolated incident, but a consistent pattern of service failures. Our thermostat never worked despite two repair requests. The living room television stopped working on the first day and was never fixed. Housekeeping repeatedly failed to replenish washcloths, requiring multiple calls. Room service frequently delivered incorrect orders, including fried chicken instead of grilled, sautéed vegetables instead of steamed, and repeated beverage errors despite my dietary requests. My husband was also unable to order an item because the menus in our room, on the TV, and on the hotel's website had not been updated. Security measures during the King of Thailand's visit required guests to use a rear service entrance by the dumpsters, disrupting transportation and causing me to miss a scheduled tour. While the hotel offered gifts and upgraded transportation, those gestures did not resolve the inconvenience. Luxury hospitality is defined by anticipating guests' needs and resolving problems before they become recurring issues. Unfortunately, that did not happen during our stay. Le Meurice is a stunning property, but it did not deliver the level of service I expect from one of the world's great palace hotels.
