Very good place and location to stay for a business trip. Staff remained very helpful. What could improve; rain shower in my room didn’t work well, and breakfast option wasn’t up to the hype.

9/10 Wonderful! (1,008 reviews)
The hotel is situated at the heart of Lujiazui -- you couldn't have asked for a more convenient location in Shanghai, with breathtaking views of the bund and Pearl Tower. I would highly recommend their breakfast, offering a variety of both western and eastern dining options. Unfortunately, there were 3 flags that I'd like to raise and would play a major factor in deciding to book this hotel again: 1) Room Service: Although offered, it was not fulfilled -- after putting a meal order at 10PM, and assured that it would arrive within 40 mins, it never came, leaving us disappointed on their service. 2) Laundry Service: Do avoid this if possible -- we had filled a small bag with 3-days worth of laundry for 2 adults and 1 child, and it cost more than 1 evening stay at the hotel (I could've just bought new clothes for the whole family with that $). Due to time constraint, we couldn't even explore other laundry options but to pay what was equivalent to another night stay (at least the hotel offered a whopping 10% off). 3) Room Status: The tower itself is beautiful, but the rooms are very dated, with clear signs of wear and tear on the furniture, early 2000s technology for opening the blinds and strange room set up (eg. the hallway closet can directly open into the bathroom tub).
