Great resort, great staff, great location.

Carla and the management team was excellent.

We made a last-minute booking at this hotel. We would have preferred a room for our entire party but at such short notice this wasn’t possible. The rooms we were given were spacious and clean. It’s very convenient for the airport bus and the red route of the City Bus Tours. A great location with several supermarkets and dining options. One of our party had a birthday and we were given a bottle of sparkling wine, which was a really lovely touch. Thank you!

Fabulous hotel in the most perfect location, amazing facilities, incredible staff. We came for a wedding and to catch up with family and friends . The food was outstanding for the wedding and breakfast and evening dinner, we booked half board and it was worth it. The pools and gardens were perfect and you have the public lido in front of the hotel which we highly recommend, you can snorkel in crystal clear waters. Special mentions to the pool cafe staff who were beyond welcoming, the food is fabulous and the cocktails too. The reception staff were also amazing , Mark, Maria, Phillipe some of the waiting staff, omelette chefs who are incredible at breakfast ....3 pans at a time and a huge queue because they are cooked to perfection. The rooms were kept clean and everything fresh daily. The walk to Funchal is 25 minutes downhill and local buses easily accessible . Do explore this beautiful island if you come here and do a madeira safari .

Hotel could do with refurbishment

Good basic 4 star hotel, as a base with a pool and breakfast it was fine for us. As long as a little tired decor doesn’t trigger you you’ll be great. Location is fantastic with a small park next door, shopping centre 5mins walk away and dozens of bars and restaurants nearby.

All Ok it’s not cliff bay but cost is reflective of that. No problems - clean room - good staff - all ok
