Absolutely recommend this accommodation. Villa was wonderful, the pool area was clean and well kept and the restaurant was AMAZING! The staff were so incredibly helpful - I would definitely return!

Overall a great hotel which ticks a lot of boxes in terms of location, facilities, cleanliness. The only issue I would point out is the checkin / out staff and process seems overly long. This creates queues which is the last thing you need after a long journey. We waited for 30-40 mins to be checked in and the desk staff seemed frustrated as much as the guests.

Nice property. Probably great for kids. Prices reasonable. Walking distance in Funchal to downtown and the waterfront. Negative. The bed was hard as a rock.

It's easily one of the most well decorated and beautiful hotels I've ever stayed at. Seriously designers should be given an award of some type it's incredible. However I had very mixed experiences with the restaurant staff and the design comes with some usability drawbacks. There a ton of little things that make the hotel less than ideal. A non-exhaustive of examples: - The makeup mirrors are mounted 6ft off the ground and cannot pivot downwards - we stayed in an upgraded room that was located in a part of the building that could not be directly accessed, so to leave or enter the hotel it was a 1/4 mile walk, this is not an exaggeration. - there's no handle on the outside of the sliding glass door for the balcony - Our utensils were chipped/broken - We were here in shoulder season (late September) but the bars were missing many basic ingredients to make drinks This on its own would've still been a great stay, but the staff in the restaurants were very slow and very defensive when I asked for a my drink to be fixed and the live music was comically bad (when I walked up I assumed it was karaoke night). The food and drinks were also really expensive even for this more touristy part of the island. O and they have music playing throughout the entire hotel of what I'm pretty sure is one artist doing an..... Ok job covering popular songs and it kind of drove me insane.
