Great place to stay in the San Diego area, located in a high-end neighborhood inside a golf club. The rooms, which appear to have been recently and tastefully renovated, are spacious, clean, and quiet. The welcome amenities (gummy bears and nuts) are a nice touch. We will definitely stay here again when we’re back in the area. The only minor downside for us was the lack of a full sit-down breakfast service, although there are plenty of places for breakfast just a short drive away.

I stayed 6 days at this hotel over Mother's Day. The staff was very accommodating. If I called down for something I needed, they would make sure I had it. Very attentive. My room was clean and housekeeping provided linens, extra blanket or microwave if requested through the front desk. My family and I ate a late lunch in the restaurant and it was delicious. We had a Turkey club, the fish tacos, and Caesar salad all were excellent! Only complaint is the coffee in the Coffee Shop. I’m a coffee snob but even if I wasn’t, it was the weakest coffee. I decided to give it a second chance the next day and ended up adding two shots, an extra regular and a decaf. Still watery! The pool area is very nice but you need to go about 11-noon for a spot. I enjoyed my stay while visiting family in the area. I would stay again.

We liked this location, however, the room signed to us, the stopper in the bathtub broke, we couldn’t take bath, shower was ok! It is clean! The AC is old and was a bit noisy when it was on. Overall it was a good experience!

Had to keep going back to the bathroom for hand soap. Staff member that check us in was amazing, so was the vallet man but person checking us out was ok did her job was not at all welcoming

It was a very restful week. Played golf a four different area courses, took in a baseball game and ate at a fantastic restaurant in Bonsall -Peking Wok. Wasn’t familiar with renting a room at the Welk, but enjoyed it. We are planning on doing this again very soon!
