We had no issues with our Philippine Airlines flight. I would fly with the airline again, but the layover in Manila was awful. We had to hand over our passports and then were put into a transfer room with dozens of other people with no additional information given to us. We were then taken out of the room, put through security, given our passports back in a plastic sheet and then put on a shuttle bus for our gate. Staff was confused about the gate's location and the whole thing was very disorganized. We then got off the bus and were immediately put through security again. Since we were traveling with technology and hygiene products it was very irritating to have to unpack and repack our bags a second time. Once we lugged our carry-on baggage upstairs (no elevator could be found nearby) and found our gate, we then had to put our things through security a third time! Communication about these procedures was not made clear and it was rather annoying. Philippine Airlines is a great airline, but we will be avoiding international transfers in Manila in the future.
