« The Yearling will always have a very special place in my heart. It is old Florida charm at its finest. The cabins are not 5-star accommodations, but rather exactly what you would expect to find located on Cross Creek between Lake Orange and Lake Lochloosa. They are clean, comfortable and offer an excellent view of the creek. The neighborhood peacocks call to each other while birds and other wildlife occasionally travel by. My husband and I have stayed three times so far and would love to go back...

« Reality check! All comments before us were 4 and 5 stars but it’s not…it’s a 3 stars. Maybe once upon a time in the west it was a 5 stars but ain’t anymore but still have potential to be a 5 stars. This cottage is located in the rich countryside of Ocala so if you’re looking for an experience on a real ranch, this isn’t the place. Max one of the owners on site is friendly, they have two friendly dogs also . We did appreciate our stay but…gotta admit that it was a little bit boring after 4 days....

« We stayed for 3 nights - four days with 8 adults and 10 children 13 and under. Wonderful space! We invited other relatives to spend the day and we could celebrate a birthday. It was special and very comfortable. We liked in special of the spacious kitchen downstairs, the game space and the beautiful pool. We also walked around the neighborhood and loved the place.Thank you to the hosts and we plan on coming back. »

« The listing indicated the rental was a house. However it is almost a studio apartment attached to a house.The space itself was clean and convenient for my overnight stay. Future renters should be aware there are dogs on the property that are quite vocal and the refrigerator is dorm sized but cold. »

« We had a great type staying the very adorable tiny house! It was well decorated (maybe too well) and the host was extremely responsive and helpful. We had never used a composting toilet before - so that what was our least favorite part. Everything else was top notch. We all found sleeping in the lofts to be very cozy and comforting. We had everything we needed to store food and make meals, a nice TV, and a shower. Excellent stay! »

« Loved the spacious RV tucked under an old majestic live oak on semi-rural property. We were greeted by Tammy and her entourage of chickens and ducks which we fed mealworms! We wanted a comfortable place to stay with easy access to Silver Springs kayak launch, and this was the perfect place. Pictures on the site are accurate. Will stay here again! »

« Clean, spacious, host was communicative and kept us in the loop as we unfortunately were without WiFi our whole stay due to a cut wire in the neighborhood. House was clean. Backyard is fenced in. Unfortunately there aren’t a ton of amenities (no extra towels, sheets, the couch was not actually a fouton but was a very comfy couch none the less) - overall I would love to stay here again. Just bring exrra towels or sheets if you’re using more than the two beds, and I would also maybe suggest...

« The property is conveniently located by Publix. There is also a large selection of nearby food options. The rooms were all a good size. The multiple living areas is perfect for families with different interests. House was super clean. It would have been nice to have some extra blankets for tv time. Only thing I would change is the grill. Slightly disappointed it was a charcoal grill versus a gas grill. »

« We deamed this property unfit to stay. A picture was added after our leaving and expressing there was no picture of a compostable toilet in the pass through hallway. This was a big no for us. The other issues could be resolved before someone stays. The pools was cloudy. The grass was up to your shin. It smelled of dog. The air condition was not sufficiently cooling. »
