« Reality check! All comments before us were 4 and 5 stars but it’s not…it’s a 3 stars. Maybe once upon a time in the west it was a 5 stars but ain’t anymore but still have potential to be a 5 stars. This cottage is located in the rich countryside of Ocala so if you’re looking for an experience on a real ranch, this isn’t the place. Max one of the owners on site is friendly, they have two friendly dogs also . We did appreciate our stay but…gotta admit that it was a little bit boring after 4 days....

« Great place...just as advertised.. Would definitely stay there again. It was in the middle of everything which was nice. there are a few items that would make it even better.. I would suggest that you invest in a TV antenna (from Walmart or Amazon) so your guests can at least watch local channels. We're not movie people and if someone that's staying there doesn't have a netflix or hulu account, it doesn't do much good. Also, you might want to get some new cookware (the teflon coverage is flaking...

« Cute cottage but on a very noisy street. We all had difficulty sleeping. The beds were hard and the pillows all need replacing. Needs a Better cleaning protocol for dishes, rugs and upholstery. Long weeds with burrs and seeds in the yard got stuck in my dogs coat. We were close to the springs and restaurants. »

« We were only able to stay at this beautiful home one night, but it was perfect. Beds were super comfy which was exactly what we needed after a long travel day with crazy traffic and weather. It was further from the freeway than we expected, but that’s on us for not looking closer. Host communicated well and house had everything we needed plus extras. Price was excellent for our family of 7. The double bed is actually a folding mattress. We put in the living room for someone to sleep on. »
